- I was fortunate to be able to perform this as an encore after I served as a guest conductor for the Brass Band of Huntsville for Spring concerts. Don't worry, the crash wasn't as bad as it sounded....of course, now you have to watch at least half of the video to see what I'm talking about....
The kid conducting made this video slightly more amazing
Thanks! The kid is my son and he'll be 6 on Friday. He just received the Kindergarten Music Student of the year at his school!!!
It had me laughing!!! Amazing 😂😂
@@elelsey Your kid in the video is already a better conductor than my Community Band conductor.
I read the description and I saw the crash didn't look as bad as it was and my eye just went to the trombone and I was really tense then it fell and then I felt really bad.
jesus christ, you sound like a euphonium player on the trombone, you're freaking good at this; loved it.
OH NOES!!! The trombone!!! :(
The trombone got jealous
Yes Sir! That’s not a cakewalk on trombone!
That trombone spill hurt my heart
That was an amazing performance. You should consider playing in the Civic Orchestra of Baton Rouge. I will gladly move from the principal slot to 2nd if you join. We practice every Wednesday from 6:30 until 8:30.
Just seeing this my friend! Thank you for the invite. I may take you up on the offer depending on what I'm doing in the Fall.
Also, thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the performance. As you can see, it was quite eventful!! 🤣🤣🤣
Truly amazing...seeing this played on the euphonium makes me what to to try it now. Hopefully one day I can do it.
Amazing bi-solo!! Hopefully gravity didn't destroy your F attachment!
Amazing tone!!
This is great! I hope the trombone is ok...but excellent performance!
What a sound
Weldone Eddie I really love ❤️ your tone and can’t wait to play like you 👍
AWESOME! 😃😃😃👏👏👏👍👍👍
Thank you!!!
🔥🔥
Thanks Bro!
@elelsey I never get tired of watching this Vid. Well done, You are also not afraid to take a risk.. You actually went for the triple F near the end. I believe you should actually think about the album. Your playing and musicianship is inspirational to me and others as well...
The entire performance was amazing! As far and my small speaker could allow me to study, you had a great control over the entire piece! Even when your trombone takes a spill! I do have to ask, from one trombone player to the next, how often do you practice daily to prepare for a concert like this and how long does it usually take to prepare it entirely from start to finish? I am wanting to start this song as a project for my playability and for my musical entertainment.
Where can get this notes ( entire band ) ?
This is great!!! Is this euphonium arrangement in treble clef. Ihate base clef.
I love watching this video. When is your album coming out? Since you have such great range, I would love to hear you play some Classical Concertos some of which were written for Alto Trombone. I believe they would sound great on your Big Horn. Your sound is so majestic on the Big Horn. Jazz is fine on the smaller horn though.
When i saw the trombone fall I was like NOOOOO. I knew it would happen the second i saw you put it on the stand
I was amazed that it was still playing as facile as it was during that last cadenza. I dropped one of mine once just before a performance and the result was a terribly difficult-to-play instrument (followed by a trip to the shop, of course) ...
It said TINK!
Show Off!!
Oh no the trombone bent
Was the trombone ok?
Well done! Not Christian Lindberg, but dang it that was some good stuff!!
Renaissongs Mann I'll take being in the same sentence as Christian Lindberg anyway! Thanks!

You are wise in the ways of the brass, my young apprentice! ;-) :D
Where can we hear more of ya?
Well, I don't perform nearly as much as I used to based on my career change... I'm more of a director/teacher than a performer but thanks again for the encouraging words!
Great solo on the trombone and it was outside!
Fan Trombone Thank you so very much! I don't perform and record nearly as much as I used to so, it is always nice to receive such nice compliments about my playing. Thanks again!
@sasquatchp6 lol. hats what low brass is man. bass clef. this is a sweet solo though
