This was the 2nd film of Joel Schumacher, his debut was THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING WOMAN. Love it despite it didnt get any single positive review in the U.S. according to Joel's commentary on the bluray.
This may be macabre but I was watching The Dark Side of Comedy and I found out that Freddie Prince was dead at 22. That's beyond tired 😮
Good. Movie.
Schumacher loves to be stylish. So, for all the shortcomings the movie has, its definitely good looking. Joel loves his flowing window curtins.
Demi looked great in that scene even when she was crying.
St eloms fire. Bar. Still there. Where at
Elmo's Bar was filmed in a Hollywood studio, the design was inspired by a real-life location: The Tombs, located at 1226 36th Street NW in Washington.
Still there. Still open. Still same.
