Wow! True craftsmanship. Beautiful car.
Thank you!
Love the car. Change the Fan Shroud color to original black.
its so neat im speechless "just amazing" i like this car how it sounds so quiet. i wonder what life was like in that period of time.
I find myself quite often imagining what it was like to see nothing but all these old classics on the road!
Super Clean Super Sport 💪🏿
I love Cragars or Astro Supremes with a white wall on a 64. Car turned out excellent, nice job.
Can't go wrong with the classics!
Thanks a lot!
@@lukegrey9972 "Classic" is a loose term. 64 were junkyard cars. Glad that's not the case.
Very nice!!
Thank you!
That was so cool
Thanks for sharing 💪
That's my dream car too 🤣
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for watching!
@@lukegrey9972 you Bet
Just noticed radio antenna is on front passenger finder. Usually on back on SS car.
Did you guys ask owner about that?
I would love to learn what the hight and rake measurements are on this.. this is exactly how I want mine to sit when I get one !!! Only mine will have 13 inch supremes…💯
I love the ride height. I want to raise up my 63 Biscayne when I get to the frame. I live on Utah's gravel roads and need some ground clearance. Also back in the 60s when I was in high school we lifted our cars. Did you do anything to raise it? Great video and project. Thanks.
Thank You very Much!
When we redid the frame and suspension we just replaced the OEM springs and that was the result. Thanks for the comment!
Oh!!
Where did you get all the trim, bumpers, et cetera. I realize may be a long list but maybe you could advise where you got most of the stuff. Carpet kits et cetera.
Thanks !!
All new pieces were ordered online, mostly coming from classic industries
Wow!!
Excellent work car look great!! If there was a 2 thumbs up on the like I would definitely hit it
Thank You So Much! Means A Lot!
Did yall make your own patch panels? Mines has lower quarter rust as well in same area. I've been looking at aftermarket panels but it's the whole quarter. If there reproduction you mind sharing where you got the panels?
Yes we were able to build the patches for this, as they weren't too big. When we get panels we usually get them from classic industries
Thanks!
Wow is that the factory white would love to paint mines that exact color
Yes its the original color. Ermine white
@@lukegrey9972 thanks for info
How much would something like that cost to be done???
I have the EXACT same car. Same colour and all.
My question to you is, did you have surface rust on the ceiling (underside of the roof) when you were restoring this? If so, how did you deal with it, and what preventative measures did you take to make sure it didn't come back?
I have surface rust on mine in that spot and it drives me insane!
I have the same problem on my 63. I plan to hit it with my drum sander with a brush and then brush everything else by hand. I'll then hit it with rust converter and top coat with some flat black I need to use up. Best I can come up with for a back yard build.
We media blasted everywhere needed then used a palm sander to smooth it out. After that I sprayed an epoxy primer over the bare metal and then the headliner covered that. Thanks for asking!
Cool. I'm going to load my A-pillars with oil (as undercoating) when we restore it
Preventative. Measures ;)
Do you have a website or eBay store or email for work to be done on 1964 Impala SS cars
We have a Facebook
Did you guys do the frame ?
Yes, the frame was fully disassembled and all components were media blasted then powder coated.
How long did entire process take?
We had it in our shop for just about 1 year, start to finish. Thanks for asking!
Much nicer had you kept everything original. Beautiful car though, Nice job.
Thank you!
Looks like about 50k of work.😊
wow awesome! if you dont mind me asking how much did you put into the car?
Thank you! For everything we did at our shop he had around 60k in it
I have 3 of the 1964 Chevy Impala SS cars if anyone looking for a project cars email or send me a message
