+Tanya Salas .. I co-sign this. I feel like they should rid textbooks in teaching and utilize tools such as this to teach. I wanted to cry when my textbook tried to explain this. But I just learned an entire "module" of accounting in 6 minutes and 17 seconds.

this is embarrassing that I learned more here, than with my school. I hate how the school structure is set up to make it more complicated than it has to be. Thank you for simplifying this whole thing.

Larry this is a rock star plain vernacular explanation that even my 9 yr old daughter was able to follow and get it 100% correct. Seriously, most accounting programs professors love to clutter our heads with non-sense BS, constantly hiding the ball to make themselves look brilliant. THANK YOU!!!

This is an excellent tutorial. The use of T-Accounts really makes it easy to understand. When you've absorbed all of this you might want to go a step further and check out this little software called "Rushing Auditor". It's a small, but fast plain-vanilla ledger software. It's free for you to use up to 500 entries (it doesn't expire). It's simple to use, and is chock-full of error-trapping routines that keep you from making mistakes. It's a great learning aid. Just Google it using the keywords "Rushing Auditor".

Dr. Lynch? You sound EXACTly like Dr. Lynch, my accounting professor at SCC! Even your paperwork looks identical to what you show us in CNOW. Either way, your videos have been a great refresher. This class has been a breeze (spring 2023) because I took accounting twice in my previous education trials. Yes, I partied to much and had to drop out, but I definitely learned accounting before doing so. Fifteen years later and here I am--in accounting class with a only a few weeks left. I will complete school this time! Makes a difference when your parents aren't footing the tuition bill for you! Thanks again!
