that last test ware the flex is on the video is absolute brutal torque and is not realistic case but little flex exist! Im very very happy how this rig support the DDW and it is even more rock solid them my rig from JCL
good call mate, I didnt realize there was an optional choice and I had very fixed budget for this build and had to count every penny ! but even with this is not that bad to be honest and in normal like 12-14nm spikes is rock solid!
Hello Steliyan ! I have a Fanatec DD2 and I'm not completely happy with it, because of the oscillations. Do you have some advices to fine tune the DD2 for Iracing (Formula 3 and Formulas in general) ? Does the SC2 have less oscillations ? Thanks for your videos !

I’ve never used the wheel deck that comes with the GT1 EVO as I ordered mine with the Podium Side Mounts. It’s the only confidence inspiring thing that has to do with my Podium DD2. It’s very rigid and solid. It’s actually fantastic. It’s the only way I’d recommend using a Podium DD with the GT1 EVO. However mine is totally useless atm as my DD2 is in the shop being REPAIRED....yay
Thanks for the video, for you with the optional Podium Bracket, or with the bracket for the simucube 2 would be better? I want to buy my first dd and cockpit, I found the gt1 evo very interesting, about the DD my choice is on fanatec dd1 (used, good occasion) or simucube 2
Hi John , I have video from week ago ua-cam.com/video/5XIiYw49od4a/v-deo.htmlbout DD1 vs SC2 and I believe worth watching it but most importantly read the comments and try to find yourself what do you think is best for you! After that you can decide yourself what brackets you gonna need !
John, if you have the chance to take the DD1 with wheel on that price you hit the joker mate ! As you see on the comments section many many people are very happy with the performance of the DD1 and is absolutely great Wheel ! If you are new to the DD world and give you test both wheels side by side I doubt you will feel any different and only very experienced people with DD wheels my feel that little different on driving! So , don’t think too much about it mate and if your budget is for DD 1 just go for it !
Mirco RS 1 ! The difference between RS1 and RS2 if you are interested of this seat is the size ! RS1 is bit smaller then RS2 and you have to know your size !
The problem with this copkit is that plate is not compatible with SC2 mounts, so you need to buy the one at simlab, and the worst part is that the P1X Front mount for SC2 is not compatible, and i would love to use that one on it. The right is ok even with caster wheels i dont have any noticiable flex and im very happy with it, but the frount mount thing was a let down. I was using a DD1 wich was compatible but when i switched to SC2 i had to use the h shifter arm to add extra holes lenght on the central bar and attach my SC2.
@@chepilevski Well, with the latest updates the DD1 was very very good, but it had coggin and SC2 doesnt, SC2 is better, more power, better QR, better filters, but if i didnt have any coggin i think i would still using DD1. You were the reason i made the change to SC2, and yes is better, maybe not that differences as i tought watching your videos but it is. For example you can have all the power on the steering and with force reduction filter you can have less forces when turning , DD1 or DD2 doesnt have that and if you use a lot of torque sometimes its imposible to move the car (im not very strong guy). I am very very happy with SC2 but i didnt improve anything (lap times) and i think im a little slower than i was with DD1 (need to keep training). I love your videos, keep the good work you are awesome.
Hmmm, with the little test I have till now with the new DD1 drivers I felt that coggin too and I want to try now different settings to see if I can eliminate that without make it too sluggish and slow! I feel like the wheel is now more connected with the sim but feels bit harsh
@@chepilevski With fast settings is even more noticiable , for me its not acceptable because it is still there when racing, at first i can feel small coggin but after 10 min i can feel like 12 big cogs/jumps on turning the wheel. With SC2 everything is super smoth and less harsh, no doubt SC2 is much much better.
Victor Martin Osset thank you very much man !!! You confirmed exactly what I was feeling! Now I have to try to take everything I can from that direction! I was wondering if you could do some tests in the most popular racing sims to see what sort of FPS you get with single monitor compared to a triple setup? I can't believe no one has done this before...
In 2 weeks I will setup again my triple screen setup and will do it mate , but the difference is huge ! For iRacing is about 300 vs 120 FPS Single vs Triple ! Thx for the good idea for video mate 😃
@@chepilevski from 300 to 120?! holy shit. I didn't think the drop would be that hard... to me it seems like it's not worth going triple simply for the performance reduction you get. I think I would rather play with 300 fps on a 240hz monitor than 120 on 3 monitor... that's brutal :/
@@chepilevski Is there no other way to make the side monitors have less pixels or something? Losing triple the framerate just for a sideview... it doesn't seem worth it to me. And what resolution do you get 120 fps? 1080p or 1440p?
