Pretty sure it’s not technically canon- I’m just getting this off google so correct me if I’m wrong- but the Telegony is kinda basically fan fiction. It was written centuries after Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey, by a completely different person. Again, not sure if this is accurate, but it’s good enough reason for me to discard it as not-canon 😅

Answering to telemachus in 0:54 circe is a minor goddess daughter of helios (the sun) and an ocean nymph but in some versions she is portrayed as one of hecate's daughter (hecate is the goddess of witchcraft) and for those saying that the telegony is not "canon" this is not a manga nor comics, this is mythology there's no canon here, every myth and story has variations and all of them are valid because they were based of ppl's beliefs
