the video is taken from a movie called Naqoyqatsi, which means : "Na-qoy-qatsi: (nah koy' kahtsee) N. From the Hopi Language. 1. A life of killing each other 2. War as a way of life. 3. (Interpreted) Civilized violence."
If we don’t neutralise decay We may run out of tomorrows Time tryeth truth And truth was found and fined Let’s break bread together Our honesty moves more than lies What do you mean “I need”? In suffering you breed If we don’t neutralise decay We may run out of tomorrows Time tryeth truth The truth was found and fined I can hear the kiss fill me Through the minds and warning signs Sounds of ghosts go further If you engage in a coven with crows So if we don’t neutralise decay We may run out of tomorrows Time tryeth truth The truth was found and fined I can hear the kiss fill me Through the minds and warning signs Sounds of ghosts go further If you engage in a coven with crows If we don’t neutralise decay We may run out of tomorrows Time tryeth truth Truth was found and fined Classic album, classic song. Sadly for Douglas, entropy/decay is an inherent aspect of the universe that cannot be "neutralised", haha ;P
I think Douglas has a negative view of the world but what made me want to listen to Death In June again and again is their (his) ability to find beauty in the dying world. That's all Death In June is about, as for me. This song is a manifestation of this idea. It sounds very beautiful. Also he sings about the future, meaning that there is still hope and that the lyrical hero realises there may be not much days left and he doesn't want to waste time on unimpotant things. Entropy is an important part of our universe but I think this song is about finding beauty and meaning in spite of the tragedy of human life. We still got time, it's just not infinite. Wabi-sabi is also kinda similar to this.
@@MacMan2152I feel ya, I was just being facetious. Douglas is a man with a very unique outlook on the world. I'd love to share a few beers (or joints, haha) with him someday.
I think Douglass Pierce wrote alot about from what he has learned from growing up. This is not suggesting that he has come a long way from what he has learned. I think he wanted people to understand that suffering comes in many different ways.
make sure you create a panic. Decay will end itself. Going like I was before I was exploded, I wouldn't have survived another year. I only survived because I learned what death is. You push others into decay. I'm haunting.
pierce was in antifa punk, and now he sings neofolk, if you're so obsessed in being a dirty fascist rat it's a problem of yours, i'm still singin'. If fasci and nazi people are here to join ok, but you gotta now that for me the only nazi.fascist good one is a hangin'one..
This is one of the most emotional songs by Death In June.

If we don’t neutralise decay
We may run out of tomorrows
Time tryeth truth
And truth was found and fined
Let’s break bread together
Our honesty moves more than lies
What do you mean “I need”?
In suffering you breed
If we don’t neutralise decay
We may run out of tomorrows

I can hear the kiss fill me
Through the minds and warning signs
Sounds of ghosts go further
If you engage in a coven with crows

How all this decandence can be neutrilised if is the maggioritarian theory?
By appealing to something beyond the rational. By appealing to the aesthetics and enchanting the people with the beauty of a certain vision.
You ve said......
DOUGLAS is my life!

This is fucking awesome.

Yep ...good stuff
woops, i keep hitting return. Anyhoo, the lyrics and melody are more than enough to make up for the stuff I complained about.
Yeah? Why?

We may have to begin with spelling neutralize correctly.

Too bad about the homosexuality. This is better than anything on the radio.
Lol
The soft, what sounded like mouth-trumpet, solo there in the middle was akward. Also the "i am an american" advertisement type video isn't so good.
Nazi?
