I LOVED how this show made us actually fear storm troopers and made them actually appear somewhat dangerous and competent. Afterall they are the equivalent of an army soldier, at a riot 😭
Believe it or not they are actually a step above a basic conscript as we learned in the underrated and dismissed movie Solo. Why they made them look ridiculous is beyond me.

FIGHT THE EMPIRE!!!
Fight or F#ck The Empire
And this show is why I’m a Rebel Sympathizer!
Funny, this show is why I'm an Imperial. Long live the empire
@@AdmiralHalsey1944ah yes I love supporting a group of people who are willing to destroy entire planets filled with innocence because a small group of rebels are there
I totally get liking the empire but I would never sympathize with them, they’re literally space nazis
@@AdmiralHalsey1944 same here! Long live the Empire. 😉btw it clearly shows that Rebels are Terrorist - the Empire only used "non lethal" force before - and those one Rebel throwed a Bomb. 1:11 min
@@AdmiralHalsey1944 Damn, hope hell's warm and nice for you when you get down there
@@technopriest6708nothing wrong with liking the Empire dude
I know the Empire are supposed to be the bad guys. I think what I find really interesting about this situation is if this was real life and I was watching this exact scene from the comfortable spot behind a screen. I would have sided with the Empire in this situation once the IED exploded.
Then again attacking what looked to be an unarmed imperial officer didn’t exactly win the rioters any favors from me. Charging the shield wall also wasn’t exactly something I would have approved of.
Seeing the rioters as people who are destroying streets and infrastructure local communities rely on while endangering the people. In that case I would have seen the rioters as enemy combatants in an active war zone and likely give out a similar order. The stormtroopers, army troopers, and the rest of the imperials were basically fighting for self preservation.
It’s an interesting observation but I think it has given me insight into why normal people in the Star Wars galaxy would wholeheartedly and unironically support the Empire. Some may even applaud the Empire in this decision which I found rather fascinating.
Some of these comments makes me wonder if they've even watched the show
Esas bombas me trae recuerdos de la primera pelicula de rogue one 1:21
I'm pretty sure those are the Sonic Detonators the Death Troopers in Rogue One had
It's scenes like this that make me absolutely freaking DESPISE the Empire. Honestly, I think the Original trilogy was the Empire at its least darkest.
Rebel sympathizers often tend not to judge objectively. I mean, the Empire blew up an entire freaking planet with several billion of civilians in the OT; here they just broke up a protest with several dozens of protesters and tōrtured a random girl. But yeah, that of course is much worse, lol.
They literally blew up a planet in the first movie.
True. That's probably the Empire's darkest moment in the original trilogy, followed by their use of the 2nd Death Star in 'Return of the Jedi'.
@@randeli7785 yeah but didn't see those people, you didn't connect with them either. Some planet explodes, billions die off screen, boom done. In Andor you see everyday, brutal opression
For the Confederacy of independent systems!
Hell yeah
I’m sure General Kalani Will become president of the CIS
@@manuelgrothe608general Kalani isn’t that special.
@@kreigguardsman3355 He’s one of the survived after the shut down command
This scene reminds me a lot of the haymarket riot in chicago.
Except this wasn't in an act to disperse the "protest"
Да здравствует ИМПЕРИЯ!!!!
For the republic
Long live the Empire! 😉 btw: its so good to see, that A: there are also other Imperial Units. B: that Stormtroopers are finally "competent" (well trained / skilled) Soldiers & that they finally hit their Targets. ( 1:56 - 2:03 - those one Stormtrooper saved his Teammate ) ☺
Oh no those poor terrorists😢
If you really think about it, the Empire responded well within reason, holding the line and initially only using stun weapons to arrest and detain the rioters, the order to fire was withheld until the terrorist threw an IED into the imperial line. Additionally, notice how Lieutenant Keysax only sent one stormtrooper to arrest the belltower as an inciter when he could've sent several or even blown it up. Long Live The Empire
Yes but they start the inicial riot going against a pacific funeral
@@elizabethgarciaponce3994 you mean pacifist? Actually, the empire did not incite the riot. The rioters were incited (bizarrely) by the celebrant. Again, the Empire acted well within reason, Prefect Tigo made efforts to quiet the inciter and, in response, was assaulted. From there, the rioters turned to attack imperial lines
Doesn’t matter how much febreeze you spray on a pile of dog shit, it’s still a pile of dog shit
Within reason, until what point as soldiers were ordered to fire indiscriminately into the crowd, including targeting protesters/rioters who were clearly fleeing, especially when they knew who threw the explosive.
@@ruste3595 Prima Facie, smoke everywhere, rioters still attacking, and other terrorists like Andor were still trying to protect the terrorist bomber
