Someone pointed out in another comment section. This sequence brilliantly displays the Empires mistakes. They miscalculated this entire event. They were here to only capture 2 Rebels, 2 Fugatives, displaying power and strength all to catch these 2 people. Yet they failed to see the Rebellion brewing right in front of them. Maarva was just a catalyst, this rage had been brewing in these people for a looooong time. The Empire failed to see the forest through the trees, and by the time they finally understood what situation they were in it was too late. 2 Rebels turned into 200 Rebels, with the potential of an entire new planet to join the Rebel Alliance. Whoops, have fun informing Palpatine of that.

Its cuz of him she survived the clone wars and order 66 which even alotttt of jedi masters couldnt even do
