It's sad how they sent her away all she wants to do was listen to some jazz but unfortunately they were black so they sent her away the school so she wouldn't be around black people come on man tell the truth you ain't got to beat around the bush
You might have bothered to do a Google image search which returns the erroneous results, perhaps because the only pictures of a young Victor are with his wife.
😂😂😂 I usually pass on videos with very low numbers & read the 1st comment. Yours told me, don't bother. However I did view for a couple of minutes & thought, you got right.😊
Many ordinary marriages were strained by the war effort. Former housewives suddenly worked in wartime industries. More important, they began to make decisions for themselves. When the men came home they didn’t want to give that up.

Many of the photos do not go with the narrative. Very misleading. For instance, when you speak of her brother, there are photos of Monk! And numerous other misleading instances of other musician photos. Match up the narrative story with matching photos!
The "Victor" part of this story is TWISTED!! I stopped watching this video when it identified the great Thelonius Monk as Victor--Nica's brother. What an insult!👎
Thank you for catching that error. I sincerely apologize for the mistake, as it was absolutely unintentional and I understand how upsetting it must have been. I’ll make sure to correct this and ensure future content is more accurate. I appreciate you taking the time to point this out.
this all could be said in 5 minutes it the same thing said over and over and over again and again and again yawn and the images don't match up with what was being said most of the time
She was not only real but one of the greatest friends a person could have. She understood the injustice faced by African Americans, and their art became the center of her life.
Wow, A Rothschild in your corner during ugly segregation and it still didn’t detour her from helping underpaid jazz musicians she definitely was an asset to jazz music to stick with Monk. I go back to listen to Monk now and I can feel the beauty of his music. Thank you Nica.
Great job! So you made a mistake! Isn’t that what the whole thing is about?! Mistakes, redemption, passion, love, companionship+purpose! Good on you Badass Baroness Rothschild! R.I.P.
