Thank you so much for this video, play was great. Took me back when i was in private Catholic school, and I was chosen to go upstate n.y. to perform as an angel with other kids to sing christmas carol for an adults audience to support an orphanage there. Never forgot the experience. God bless.🙏🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thanks for another great Dollywood video. The park is always beautiful at this time of the year. As far as the train, since some people don't seem to like it for whatever reason I think it's great and Dollywood would not be the same without it. Hope you had a great weekend.
I've been to Dollywood twice in my life and the train was always my favorite!! Here's a fun fact. The mystery mine used to be called the flooded mine!! And any time the Dollywood train needs repair work they'll send it to Tweetsie Railroad to be repaired!! 👍🏻 🎡🚂🎢
Thanks for taking us to Dollywood for Christmas. Love the beautiful play, the depiction of Jesus's birth . The music throughout the park was wonderful and love the train. We got tickled about no cameras or phones with the old cars segment 😂 Great filming caught the spirit of Christmas, beautifully. Thank You
Greetings from the Ft. Bragg, NC area. We've never been to Dollywood for Christmas. Just wondering if it is worth the expense and trip if we aren't interested in riding any rollercoasters. What's your opinion? The main draw for us is riding the train.
My wife and I got season passes from our sons for Christmas last year, so we have not had to pay for admission. I'm honestly not even sure what the admission cost is, but I'm thinking it's somewhere around $90-$100. That would be for a single day admission. If I were going to pay that, it would definitely be at Christmas, and I would do some of the shows and stay for the lights. For us, we do ride the rides, so that makes it worth it. I don't know that I would consider it worth it, if we did not ride the rides.
@@NCMemoryMakers well for us it would be military rate of about $65. Just wanted to make sure there was enough to see without rollercoasters that would be worth it. I mean a trip to ride the railroad in Bryson would be twice as much.
@mcloud7426 $65.00 does sound a little better. There are plenty of shows to choose from. We like some better than others. The train ride is okay, but there's only so many times you'll want to do that before it gets boring. But if you enjoy beautiful lights and shows, then perhaps it would be worth it. Also, they charge to park, and I'm honestly not sure how much that is. The parking is covered with our Gold passes. You would probably get a discount for that, as well. I would think so.
@@mcloud7426Hi I also live in NC and I've been to Dollywood twice. I love their train but I know that with the way expenses are now I would happy to just go back to Tweetsie Railroad. Did you know that when the Dollywood train needs to be worked on that they send it to Tweetsie Railroad to be repaired? When I heard that I thought that is so cool. 👍🏻
Tell Leanne and Sean that I said hi from Sath that looks fun still young I don't want to grow up I want to be a Toys R Us kid how much was the price for that Dollywood
Our sons bought us season passes for Christmas last year, so we haven't been paying admission to get in. I think it's between $80 and $90. It would be on their website. I will tell Sean and Leigh Ann hello for you.
The least favorite thing for me at Dollywood is that terrible pollution train. It really paints all the trees in black soot and makes it hard to breath when the wind blows that smoke back at you. I wish they would decommission that train and use one that is not coal burning like that. Just because it is old doesn't mean it is good. But I enjoy the lights at Dollywood for Christmas.
The Passion Play Is Our Favorite Thing There. Thanks So Much For Sharing. Pray You All Have A Very Merry Christmas!
Enjoyed all the pretty Music & Lights! Thanks for taking us along!
Glad you enjoyed
1 Word Outstanding

That's interesting. I didn't know about them sending it to Tweetsie.
@@NCMemoryMakers Yes. I heard about that a long time ago. I think it's awesome!
That was beautiful and I was so touched during the play! I have never been to Dollywood but If I can ever go I would love to go at Christmas!
Yes, that is the best time to go, in our opinion.
Thanks for what you both do
You're very welcome.
