Thanks for checking out the video! This whole thing started when a friend of mine asked if I could print some fake drill bits for a Halloween costume idea. He ended up going in a different direction before I got the chance to attempt making one. But I thought it would be fun to try, and share the process for those interested. Happy Halloween!
Bit of a suggestion if you ever want to make a functional model, having the cutting edge of the flutes end closer to the centre of the drill bit will help it bite material. Atm when starting there is very little engagment with a cutting edge so it'll struggle a bit to actually bite the material. Sick model and clean print tho!
