From Alabama, I am soooooooooo glad that you are "presenting" again! I think one of my biggest problems is thinking I MUST know the theory behind everything and not enjoy learning to "noodle," as you say!!
Karen, it is wonderful see you again on UA-cam. The way you teach opened to me the Piano playing world . I learned a lot from you and I want you to know that you changed my life. Thanks so much!!!!!
I had a beautiful, upright piano when l was growing up that was a Mason & Hamlin. I know that's a real old, very good brand! I wonder if they are still being made... l sold it when l got my Baldwin grand around 45yrs ago...l only remember how long ago it was because l got it before my daughters were born! Enjoyed your lesson!🎉😊
A few years ago I found your video where you were teaching beginner seniors. This is where learned to remember the circle of 5ths(4ths). This was start of my piano playing which I can say that what I learned that day continues to help me learn, remember and play songs. Thanks so much!!
All this 'quick and easy' way stuff reminds me of the early 1980s when organ centres sprung up everywhere telling no-hopers they could play their favourite tune in "six easy lessons". Of course the showrooms were full of them just before Christmas and the classified ads full of them a couple of moths later. I can tell you as a pro for 45 years if you want to get it right there are NO SHORT CUTS. It requires talent and graft.
Hi Karen, I just came across your youtube channel, and I actually got to understand chord progressions thanks to you. Thank you so much for the joy and knowledge you bring to these lessons. Can't wait for the next videos !
Thanks for all you do Karen. I followed all your previous courses on youtube and bought your books including the circle of 4th as you call it and I am now playing like a pro. again thank you very much 👋👋
Hi iam 32 and I just bought a nice Yamaha piano it's electric not too fancy but it's not too plain either you can hook it up to the computer and it's got a little screen on it and you can put a memory cards in it and I just thought it would be fun to have one and see what I can do cuz I've always loved the piano and it sounds like you're pretty fun to to an easy to teach people so I'm going to try your videos and see how it turns out thank you for showing us Rocky
Karen. I'm still using the Bisquick method you taught years ago. It is so helpful with learning language as well as music. I ask myself what is the bisquick in this, with music, and in grammar with language learning. Thanks!
I think she's trying to explain to us and somebody that doesn't know how to play needs some guidance and explanations of what your fingers are doing and what the chords are and where your fingers need to be and I find it very helpful I really don't think she's talking too much maybe she's to me she's not talking enough but I like her instruction and it sounds like it's going to be pretty easy cuz I'm only 32 and I'm just bought a piano and I'm so interested in trying to play it I think this is going to be fun
Just shut up and move on and let the rest of us that find her explanations entertaining and engaging learn. It's her channel and she can talk all she wants.
Thank you for returning to utube. You have been missed.❤

Karen I'm from Ireland. How much would your book cost in euro.
Also I'd like to purchase you Christmas song book.
Thanks.
I just found this Lesson. You say it is lesson three. I can’t find lesson 2 and 3.
🎉
I don't remember that song. What is it?
You typed C D instead of C G... Please correct.
Hi
Voice goes off on and off which is very irritating
Karen you are talking to much. Too much makes you loose audiance.
That's Rude, I just refound her channel. I plan to try to keep up. I love her explaining and encouragement to get people to play
First of all her content is free and secondly she is explaining the lesson. If you want to be a musician, you need to learn patience.
Just shut up and move on and let the rest of us that find her explanations entertaining and engaging learn. It's her channel and she can talk all she wants.
