Hi, I've tried to calibrate my machine multiple times and follow the advice in this video. However, my machine keeps cutting inaccurately on the left and bottom of my shape (not cutting enough). I've had the machine for almost a year now and never really had to cut geometric shapes until now. Do you have any suggestions?
Start over and use all the defaults. Get a brand new cutting mat that is completely flat and if you are using Juilet, only have 2 rollers on the cutting mat on the very edges of the mat and not on the adhesive. ua-cam.com/video/_MJJFyBFO_U/v-deo.htmlsi=iesbe0erj5uHXSJJ If you still have issues after following all of that, please contact Siser Support for further assistance. I have never had to calibrate my machines. While you see a lot of people out there suggest it, it is always the last thing we recommend and only if all cuts of every single object on a page are off the same distance. That is when calibration might help.
I am beyond frustrated with my new Siser Juliet Machine. I have all the correct settings as you stated in your video (canon printer also), but I am still not getting accurate cuts. My designs cuts too far to the left on my print & cuts. Not sure how to fix it.
@@Jessa91582 I'm in the same boat as you right now and I've shed literal tears with how frustrated I am. I have wasted SO much ink and materials... What's strange is that it was PERFECT just the other day... Suddenly Leonardo froze on me, and when I unplugged the USB from my PC and plugged it back in, it fixed the freezing issue, but my cuts never came out precise ever again... I have been battling this for three days now and I'm over it. I bought the Siser because I had it with Cricut... I have no idea what else I can do. Let me know if you get your issue solved.
Unfortunately I never did figure out how to get accurate cuts with the Siser Juliet Machine, mine was never accurate from the start (feel like I received a defective machine myself). I tried for over a month with tech support and different videos, nothing worked. I would suggest trying to calibrate your machine or message Tech Support, they are very responsive. Honestly mine has been sitting on a shelf unused for the past 7 months. I purchased and use a Graphtec CE7000-40 for my small business now.
hi! i have an HP 3752 and my border setting is set to “none”. is this alright? i noticed there’s a difference in size when i print on two different paper sizes even if both were set to US Letter within Leonardo, and the cuts are coming out inaccurate. i’ve calibrated it too, i’m just not sure what’s wrong and customer service won’t be open again for another 2 days.
does the red cross have to line up with the blue lines when it reads the registration marks? Mine reads the marks but does not line up with the blue lines so I'm confused as to how it is supposed to read them
Wow! Thank you for this. I have been doing photography and printing for years and never realized this! Thank you.
You are welcome!
Great video with clear and precise information. Thank you.

Is it on all of the designs on the page in the same distance?
Have you tried calibration under Help in the software?
@@SwiftCreekCustoms yes, all the incorrect cuts are uniform throughout the page. I will try the calibration, thank you.

Try it with the normal border setting. Borderless does change the size. You'll have to test the settings as each printer can vary.

Red cross should line up in the corner of the registration mark.
@@SwiftCreekCustoms so the blue lines have nothing to do with it then because that's what I'm confused about
@@Muskette04 I ignore the blue lines. The cross hair is what you are looking for to line up with the corner.
Do we print borderless?
I would not recommend it. It prints a different size and that can affect print and cut results.
@@SwiftCreekCustoms ok thanks
@@Muskette04 you are welcome!
