I am so glad I found your videos here on UA-cam 😊I have search so much for the siser cutting machines and yours are the only one that helps us out. Thank you

could you help me out a bit? Im trying to die cut around my sticker sheet first, and it does cut through, but it does not start the kiss cutting process. Once the die cutting around my sticker sheets complete, itll end the process there. I chose cutting tool for the images inside my sticker sheet template, and perf cut for the die cut. Is there a way to have two settings, one for die cut and one for kiss cutting -- force and speed? okay So I figured out maybe whats wrong. The template of the sheet for the back ground I added, I cannot select the "stroke" option. Is there another way to have that diecut?
@@SwiftCreekCustoms basically I open another image which Is my sticker sheet template and then I drag my individual stickers into. Shoukd I be trying it another way?
@@SwiftCreekCustoms nope I haven't tried that. I'll try it today after work! Could you make another video kiss cutting and diecutting templates pleaseee
Hi, I am wondering, if I have a design is on a square/ rectangle and I want to cut out the square/ rectangle, then I would choose the background image setting instead of print and cut, and it will cut out that shape (with the design in it) only. Is this correct?
@@julienguyen8437 if you open it as a background, you would need to draw the rectangle/square you want it to cut. Background = opens image only. No cut lines & does not set it up as a print.
Hi there, love the videos so far. In the past ive been working on Summa cutters, and im planing to buy siser juliete for home use. Can you make your print and cut files manualy, like in adobe illustrator and just import them to the Leonardo or you must use Leonardo to create cut contours?
when i try to die and kiss cut as one job on the same sheet, my machine does the die cut and never does the kiss cut. All objects to be cut are configured correctly. Using v1.1.5. Thoughts?
I would start over and make sure that each line is set up exactly the same as my video. You want to make sure a kiss cut has a different Cut Action than the Full Cut. Do not use the Fold/Crease option as it does not adjust properly. Then make sure that each action has different settings for force on the Send tab as I show in the video.
EllyMae, your inspiration along with your excellent video’s inspired me to order my Juliette. I am so excited to have this awesome machine. I’m going to practice setting up a sticker design page following your video, I actually wrote notes on my lunch break last night. The Leonardo design software seems to be very user friendly to where I think we will get along just fine. Thank you for all you to in teaching us so much about the software and the machine. I have a question? What kind of vinyl would you recommend for wall quotes that can be removable.👍🏻
Are you moving the housing inside the bottom left registration mark as demonstrated at minute 14 in this video? ua-cam.com/video/_MJJFyBFO_U/v-deo.html
Wait a sec.... isn't the cutting tool other way around? the Cut tool (perf) Blue Solid Circle is the die cut right? while the Green outline Circle (full cut perf) is the kiss cut
@@skyhskyh you can set it up either way since you are in charge of the settings. The software has also had some changes since the beginning with dot colors..... But the user is in charge of it all and as long as you know what you've set up for each color, that's the biggest part.
I'm having the hardest time getting the offset color to be changed. I upload my image, then add an offset, I want the offset to be another color but it won't change even though I change the color on the layer. I am finding the software very frustrating. I love the cutting ability but the software is just not user friendly.
Only small thing that bugs me is that you can't just stick the mat in and hit send on the program. You have to manually set up the laser everytime to the bottom right?
Yes. You have to set the blade starting point of origin each time. Here's an example where I cut 4 sticker pages at once with Romeo. You do have to line up the blade housing for each individual sticker sheet, but it takes seconds, and with the repeat option as well, it can be really quick to do. ua-cam.com/video/uFk_cZSNLL8/v-deo.htmlsi=u3kftK0htch8XfkR Note: I did not use the repeat job in this video, but it is an option.

I appreciate all the time and effort you put into these videos for us and I'm glad you got your voice back. I'm going to try this tomorrow.
You are welcome! Funny thing is - it comes and goes. Today hardly any voice.
I had great results today with Koala Viny Sticker paper; I have some ancient Cricul sticker paper but I haven't cracked the code on that one yet.
Thank you! This is what I was looking for (backing sheets)
Yay I made stickers and did my test cuts!!! So glad you made this video. Thanks again.

Yes. They are pretty zippy.
Thank you for this video. Do you know if there is a way to do the easy peel stickers with Juliet yet?
Do you mean kiss cut? Or do you mean like a pull tab?
If you mean pull tab, you would just need to create that in the software.
Thank you :)

hi, i have started with siser juliet. Can you tell me what kind of sticker paper you use in this video? also the brand that you use ?
In the video description, I have linked the supplies I used. There are 3 brands there.

Leonardo does create the cut contours when opening files.

I would recommend Oracal 631 for walls and remove carefully with a bit of heat if necessary, but Oracal 631 is typically recommended for walls.

I don't understand why we use the rectangle die cut to do this?
I used a rectangle because other users had been asking how to do it that way. They wanted a sticker sheet cut out completely, so that's what I showed.
