I am honestly not sure why the USSR radio squad gets to get a semi auto sniper at BR 2 (even if it only has 5 rounds). That makes them the only faction getting a semi auto sniper at low BR, on a premium squad that isn't even a sniper squad. And for some reason the german one only has a reskinned G41 without a scope. I feel they should have removed the scope, or made it BR III to go along the german one. They feel like equivalent to if not better to the german G41 sniper squad (5 less ammo but access to the radio stuff).
I'd reckon it's because soviets only have one option for snipers and low br, that being the nagant. That and 5 rounds really sucks for a semi-auto. (Almost forgot to mention the type hei rifle)
to be honest standalone the new russian radio squad seems worth it, especially on sale. by comparison the germans are entirely forgettable. also, as far as i can tell rocket arty is purely a gimmick and it doesnt feel like it does anything different than normal arty. but your criticism is accurate, it is powerful might be them trying to boost russian players, might just be power creep idk.
Bro the 57 is just a more maneuverable t-34-85 with a faster fire rate. Its downsides are reduced post-pen damage and a less potent HE shell. The 57 beats the 76 EVERY SINGLE DAY when it comes to anti-tank potential.
When the KV2 is a better trench digger than any engi.
You can use LA7 and new fighter plane, you just need to have legacy fighter III squad in Berlin campaign.
I'm pretty sure that scope is detachable. But I wouldn't just for the happy markings it has =)
