CAN'T believe i finally bought my first house! and in my favorite town ever? Arashiyama kyoto! Buying a house in japan was definitely extreemly hard. but now i know what i know so hopefully next time will be better! I've worked so hard and saved for so long. Thanks for all the love and support during this journey! i know the house isn't all amazing like most but.. I'm not rich lol and i love it! Can't wait to rennovate.

5 . Save to invest, this is most important because it's a proven way to get richer. Very important to financial success

Your experience sounds like it was super complicated, even for Japan. We just closed on land this month and it was WAY easier. The longest parts was going over the contract (2 hours) and counting the cash on the day of the closing. Congratulations on finally finding a place!

OMG!! What a journey! I am so impressed and proud that you have done this alone, as a woman, in a country where the language isn't yours. I did this in the Netherlands a few years ago and feel the pain of a translator, extra documents you don't need etc etc. CONGRATS SUNDAI!! Onwards to the reno!!

I've been watching your channel for maybe 4 or 5 years now, maybe longer, but watching your journeys through Japan has been one of the biggest inspirations of my life, I'm not even kidding. I have one tiny bit of advice for the renovations you're gonna do. Be VERY SPECIFIC with what you want. I was shocked at how many times I thought common sense would come into play when the renovators needed to make a decision on their own and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I regretted it. FORREAL. You're gonna have to be very specific and sometimes even do their job for them.

In Japan, sorting garbage is difficult, but living here is comfortable. It's close to Osaka, so it's comfortable to visit! Nice!
