Good morning Lena. I enjoy playing around with the bits and pieces first with no commitment until I am happy with the design. It’s so helpful taking a photo as a I would never remember the layout otherwise and would end up being disappointed with it. It is lovely having Sam home and Alex will spend a lot of time with us over Easter as well. The weather has been gorgeous all week and we are popping out shortly for some fresh air. This is great. Love how it came our. Gonna try it. You could put your blank sheet in chipboard and put another piece on top of finished product. Then flip. Then you can start glueing a piece at a time starting from ones on top. Hope that makes sense. Tfs

Just love these Nina - just the right colours to welcome in the spring. Like you I scan and print out copies and save the originals. I do find using the right paper to print out on is important. Ordinary copy paper tends to produce a dull image. I prefer to use matt photo paper - sadly it’s more expensive than copy but the results are so much better

BINGO - that’s exactly the alternative paper I use when I run out of the matt photo - great minds 😀

UA-cam can be very frustrating can’t it. The paper you use to print on makes a massive difference. I have bought some of the Color Copy paper that my local printer uses and it’s fabulous 💕 xx

I think the contents of the Jan & Feb boxes were perfect for a Masterboard. Just trying to think of a project for the little match box of ephemera. Very inspiring. Would have like to see how you glued the pieces, using your photo as a guide. How tricky is it to keep your pieces in the right spot? What kind of photocopier do you use?
I’m sorry I didn’t show this Sarah, but it makes pretty boring viewing for many. When I’m gluing I have the photo in front of me so I can see the position of all the pieces. It’s easy to tell which ones are on the bottom and where they overlap. I use a glue stick to glue everything down and of course I can tweak positioning as I go along if I want to. I hope that helps ❤️

Absolutely beautiful!!! You said you use a glue stick. Do you go back when it’s done and use a better glue to keep them together?
Hi Alice, I do sometimes add more glue as needed. I never use my original Masterboards and always keep them as originals. If things do start to peel, I will either touch up with more glue stick or go over the whole surface with matte medium. I find that photocopies are much better and easier to work with. I hope that helps 💕

Beautiful master board!! And the copy is just as lovely. Would you mind telling me what kind of printer you use? I currently have an Epson XP-640 and am pretty disappointed with the output. I'm in the market for a new one. I would like to buy something that allows me to purchase digitals and get beautiful printouts such as yours.
Thank you so much. I have an HP OfficeJetPro 7740. It’s a monster, but I’m very happy with the quality of the prints it produces. They are just as vibrant and clear as the ones I have done professionally. I would highly recommend this printer 💕
