This has just reminded me what a brilliant, brilliant actor he is.
He was one of those guys that was always reliably great. He elevated the performances of every actor who shared a scene with him.
I wouldn't go so far to call him brilliant! He's quite good, but not actually brilliant!

He played such a good loser, most people forget he had a leading role in a Jurassic Park movie.
I know this is such an old comment but that jurassic park was my favorite as a kid. I would always recreate the opening plane crash scene with my toy cars.

When I typed “William H Macy” into the search bar, this is PRECISELY what I’d hoped would exist.
He was so perfect in Fargo, and then Shameless cemented him as one of my top favorites 😊super talented guy! Frank Gallagher reminds me of my dad in a way lol
Damn if you watch most of his movies it kinda becomes the backstory to Frank on Shameless. Makes it kinda make sense. All except boogie nights😂
