Really, look up how much a 5-7 day trip with all 4 parks, park hopper, and staying at one of their basic hotels. You will be shocked at how much it costs before even including the travel costs, food, and all of the crap you'll buy for the kids.
We planned on taking our two young kids to Disneyland several months ago. I was dredding it selfishly but was happy for them to go.
I was raised Mormon, and as an adult I left Mormonism. I have a brother and sister-in-law (who are still Mormon) that I would classify as Disney "adults". I wonder what % of Disney "adults" are also Mormon. Anybody have thoughts on this or other anecdotal examples?
I’m from Arizona but I went to school with quite a few Mormons and some of them are big Disney fans and used to do annual trips to Disneyland. Our valedictorian is a Mormon and during the graduation, she had the whole graduating class rag doll when she shouted, “Andy’s coming!” during her speech.
Worked on the Disney flick, Country Bears, years ago. A group of these people visited set one day. Couldn't believe it. It's as bad as this vid is saying. Strange people.
They sell lifetime passes to Disney world starting at $40k.
35 and I’ve never been. I also don’t say people are best friends like I’m in middle school
Christina: Disney Adults need therapy.
Me: Disney IS my therapy.
Maybe grow up?
@@devonbailiff Thanks. I tried that already. It’s really overrated.
@@devonbailiff why can’t this Christina bitch find something better to do with her time than shit on adults who aren’t harming her?
I love how she bashes NPR, then goes on too agree with everything in the article.
She's not really the most intelligent of people.
I haven't even listened to the vid yet and I've already liked the video lmao Disney adults are psychopaths. Signed, a Floridian ✔️
These people will actually never complain about a minor change in canon or anything for that matter. They will do the opposite and excuse every single creative and business decision Disney makes forever.
The Disney adult rabbit hole is weird. There were gangs at Disney for a while. They had leather biker cuts with patches related to the area of the park they claimed. There were physical altercations and Disney cracked down.
No fucking way lol
@@ojanymolina4222 i had heard something about this. I wasnt sure if it was serious or not. I used to attend burning man in the early 2000s and there was so much role play that would get cross pollinated... thats the real disney for adults... og burning man... you may possibly die on the playa but its an experience.
My cousin, her husband, and their 4 kids drive to Orlando from Colorado Springs multiple times a year. Sometimes the adults go by themselves. We don't talk much.
I went to Disney World when I was a kid. Around the age of 11. I remember seeing a dude in his 30s in a tank top who was tattooed from waist to neck to wrists with nothing but disney characters.
This would have been in the late 90s.
I knew a Toronto area family of adults who were full on Disney cult members. They are totally obsessed and go every year. Sometimes, they travel twice a year. The retired parents even bought a Disney timeshare. They sold it during Covid at a loss. Their thirty something daughters moved back into their childhood bedrooms pre-Covid and have no plans apparently to buy their own respective homes despite both having well paid white collar careers. Failure to launch…credit to Disney.
Ugh, pay money to be marketed for a day. nope. Used to have a co-worker who was married with children, but he was crazy into Disney. He would buy limited edition stuff and I am pretty sure he took all the fun out of Disney for the kids.
Nothing wrong with having a hobby or wanting to belong...
Im not a Disney Adult but what are they hurting... no different than Christina P pretending to be funny while riding the back of her actual funny husband, Tom...
I live in Orlando and I loved having it for one year, it's 10 mins away, and it is worth going to hang out if you do like Disney. But some obsessed main character people go all the time, every single year, and spend so much money on it and it was super cringey how into it they were.
A guy i knew briefly where i started working before he left, was bragging about all his side Bees but said he had to buy one a Disney hoodie for over $100 to keep her happy. My peepee inverted at the sound of a grown woman (early 20's) being infatuated with Disney stuff, and i play computer games with a passion and watch Anime, i also wrench on and ride motorcycles, but look at my nickname, it's ManKid and yet Disney Adults repulse me!
Hearing about the Disney adult made me nauseous
Disney adults make me feel uncomfortable.
"Vag Dryer"!!!!!! That's just plain brilliant
I have a brother in law who is a cop, and is a Disney adult. Even runs a Disney travel business
90% of these people are on the spectrum. Leave them alone lol.
Why are ppl so judgmental on how many times other ppl attend parks.
To hell with Disney, I'm a Universal Man....
I dont have any problem with people doing whatever they want in their lives, but man- Disney is so expensive nowadays....and in this economy?!?!?! wtf
The greatest thing about Disney-dults is that they have stickers they put on their cars that let you know which fgtrtd to avoid on the road.
I am wearing my mickey shirt. I struggle to do a Disney cruise because I don't have kids. It is a magical place and was a dream to go. You ought to go yourself.
I was a Universal Orlando season pass holder, and don't even like rollercoasters. There is something about being in a park and all the energy is positive and free of the stresses of everyday life. That being said, Disney Adults are creepy
I'm sitting in a bar right now trying to be comfortable and listen to this and people are like hey man are you okay are you depressed or something and I'm like no I'm just watching this because it's way more interesting😂
Just when I thought I couldn't love Christina more... i HATE Disney adults
I have a Mickey Mouse tattoo and am a 36 year old virgin. I don’t dress up or anything that’s weird. I just like old school Mickey.
Also I don’t weird out at the parks. The parks are for kids and it bugs me when adults take away from kids experience at the park. I don’t need pics with characters as an adult.
Christina clings to being a goth for 6 months at 17, 35 years ago harder than I've ever seen an adult man be into Disney tbh.
I'm sure they're out there as with anything but I'd way rather get rid of wine/Xanax moms than some small subsect of men who enjoy something
L comment
@@allie4052 Are you a wine or Xanax mom?
Says the person with a cartoon profile pic 🤣🤣
@@VannywiththeFanny xanax
@@devonbailiff yeah sorry when I used the same profile pic for twt/IG/UA-cam I had weird creeps call my work and try get me fired
Went to Disney World when I was young. My dad told me “pretend to be retarded” or “go single ride” so you can beat the lines. It worked back then.
Spending that amount of money just gives me anxiety bro. Like I need to actually have a possession for that amount of money
Just let people like what they like!!! Who cares? They are no hurting anyone!!! 🙄
omg @0:56 you can see mark normand proposing to his queef for a buzzfeed article! XD
I work with a guy who goes to Disneyland with his wife once or twice a year. They don't have kids. I've told him that's fucking weird, and he knows I'm right beacaue he never has a comeback.
Vag dryer 😂😂😂
No the TRUTH about Walt Disney is Saturdays were Daddy Daughters day. While he was sitting on the bench watching his kids ride the carousel. And though there should be a place were Parents and Kids could play and ride attractions TOGETHER.
Lol I love how everyone in Christina’s eyes needs therapy.
It's projection
Lol. My manager is 34 year old Disney adult. When she said she was taking her vacation to Disnay land I tried to cover my sour milk face, I must not have done a good job. Lol she was mad at me for days.
I went out with two Disney Adult women and I found it off putting. Can’t imagine being a lady dating Disney Adult men. Definitely worse.
I enjoy nostalgia as much as the next person but there is no way I do a yearly Disney cruise if I have no children.
I'd be lying if I said that I don't enjoy disney stuff as an adult. But some of these disney adults are so fucking crazy and disturbing. Like there's a guy on UA-cam that goes to disney land a shit ton and does character impressions to the characters working.... how many times does your uncle have to touch you to make you like that? 😂
excuse me you have no room to make fun of others if you're gonna make jokes like that
Actual man here. Went to Disney for the first time bringing the kids last year and thought it was going to be the gayest of all gays. It was f****** phenomenal and I may go every year until the kids are too old. It's expensive as s*** but creating memories with your kids is more important than the money you can't take with you. Sending hate from Minnesota.
Ive been saying this for years, adults that go to Disney without kids are out of their fucking minds
Couldn’t agree more. You can like Disney without having to dress up or collecting crap.
Everyone of us obsesses over something, I guess that’s just being human.
I just draw the line at obsessing over things that are designed for children.
That’s not just weird, that’s either a worrisome fetish or a mental health issue.
Infantilism to such a degree has always other severe mental health issues as the root of it.
I just want to go to Disneyland stoned, get drunk and just have a good time lol…now I wouldn’t say I wouldn’t take pics with maybe a few characters but only if their themed, not the basic summer looks lol
My father in law has a Micky mouse tattoo and has 5 kids from 5 different women. His first daughter picked out the tattoo when she was a toddler. He's a great dude and has full custody of all of them. He no longer likes Disney with all the nonsense in recent years.
I thought a Disney adult was just a homosexual.
Really good one.
I don't see what's wrong with liking Disney. So what there doing what's makes them happy! I like Disney!
In this video a perpetual adoscelent criticizes perpetual children
How do we feel about adults doing legos? some of the sets are cool and I will die on this hill.
No im with ya on this one. Id go to legoland for sure... my only convern wpuld be going and it somehow not living up to expectations and id be crushed... but the disneyland thing... like a friend went years ago and he said basically, beyond travel and lodging and admission to the park itself plan on spending about a grand once you get in the park. And that was just him, his wife and their toddler.... it just seems so extravagant and i dont think i could ever justify it. Someone else said... for that kind of money im gonna need an actual item... not just an experience... that needs to be an actual purchase with ownership of something tangible.
Lego , the gateway to being into engineering. Disney , the gateway to being a diddler
I had a buddy whose mom had a 3 ft replica of the disney castle and a CONDO at Disneyworld. She has one kid, who is currently 41 hahaha
As a male with no kids listening to a mom Podcast ...I would not like to spend an entire day surrounded by kids and families sounds like hell...imagine paying a year subscription for that tha
Also, for Disneyland in California, we stay in the park...California land...for 3 days expect to pay A FUCKING SHIT LOAD, the room itself is $3,000 then food, gifts, and you sped about $5,000
say what you will about Disney Adults but there's nothing in the entire world that feels like boarding a steam train built in 1925 by Baldwin Locomotive that has been running for over 100 years.
LOVE THE YMH SET, MAMA JEANS!!!!
