I did this last year with a black one off the bays of e. I'd rather have it hidden under the hood but a hole cover wasn't available when I was looking. Decent mod.

Did you take the base off and lay it in the hood? I know some people do that.

@@DIYDiesel That was my initial plan...if I could find that plastic piece without the hole. I think escalades had the 'no hole', I believe the part was discontinued. The bullet looks fine and reception's good so I haven't looked again.

My bullet antenna faded and I painted and clear coated it..... still works great today or in 2005 .... keep up the great work thank you

I hit a bird with my tahoe and the antenna broke off and the radio worked better and then I got my Sierra and I just removed it

I’m still rocking my black 50 cal from Enthuzst. Been on the truck since 2020, it’s closer to a dark grayish black than blue, but it is close to the black color plastic by the wipers 😂

😆 as long as it works! I didn’t think of it, but simply painting it with a better quality paint, and clear would improve it allot. You won’t get the enthuzst logo though.

Bullet antenna are for looks. If you buy one for anything other than you like the look you are throw in your money away. In my opinion they are not much better than no antenna. If you stay on the city they are ok but if you go a couple kilometres out side of the city you lose your reception. When I sold my truck I never bothered taking it off. Absolutely garbage
