Dame just hearing Ben’s call made me want to rush in there to find him also the endless buzzing of cellphones that surrounded the club entrance was chilling
@@bannybruh with that for me It was the fact that the cell infiltrated the hospital, makes you wonder... where else in LS did the cell infiltrate? The police? USIC?
I personally think this is worse than elephant because at least in elephant few bodies can be found, implying most students got away, and also if you’re quick you can save most people. However in this mission, almost everyone is already dead, their bodies piled near exits, and there’s nothing you can do but stop the terrorists from doing what they’ve already done.
I remember my first time listening to the 911 calls for Nightclub- me, and two other friends, were all doing our first playthrough together. Up until that point, we'd been keeping the police nature of this game in mind, and acting based around that. Apprehension before death. After hearing those calls, though? We all just silently walked to the lockers for a FULL lethal run.
When me and my brother did this mission for the first time didn’t listen to the briefing. When we came across the pile of bodies in the main room we both went ‘Holy Shit’
7:39 Chico's was a cut map from one of the Beta updates. It was basically 4U but with cartels and at a restaurant instead. Devs have hinted that it might come back in a DLC, though.
I almost cried when I played this mission. The fear that I might be the one on the other side of any of those mobile phones calling to a loved one and never ever receiving and answer. The pain is immeasurable.
I love you Shayne. I didn't get the manifesto translation 100% but, there is a more accurate translation of his manifesto in game on a evidence board in the Detective bureau back left.
I think this is the most traumatic mission even more than the elephant, the phone calls and the literal piles around the stage and the back exit is just too much for me

Thank you for making these videos. I've enjoyed binge-watching this series. Your efforts to piece together the timeline, and your entertaining delivery and editing! i feel like it would be work that the game could operate without but it would be so sick to be able to answer ringing phones, to fully illuminate the reality of the game, showing the player that everyone who dies isn't just an npc but a person who has a life and a family in this world, not just an objective to protect
I feel like these last two videos have made me realize I have an underlying fear of being in a shooting cause I tear up while listening to those 911 reports.
Arab names are patronymic, where the name of a person's father is included together with their given name. 'ibn' means 'Son of', and is the middle part of their full name. So the leader of the Hand is Abd Allah (Ab-dal-lah) not Al-Zubayr (which would be his father's name)
I just wanted to add my own theory after binging all your videos. I believe that USAI is connected to all of this to an extent with each leg of the spider being former operatives that served in Vietnam together. The reason why trafficking and drugs play a large role in several operations reminds me of the real world Project Phoenix. In our reality, the CIA began Project Phoenix in an effort to convert former vietcong and nva troops to aid the US war effort. However, the Project spiraled out of hand with CIA agents arresting innocent civilians and performing the same psychological and physical torture performed on captured VC. In turn, many of these captured civilians began sympathizing with the communist north. Project MK Ultra was also heavily used during this program. Where drugs and trafficking come is is during Vietnam, many brothels operating in South Vietnam were backed by the CIA as intelligence gathering sites to monitor clients working or aiding the vietcong. Many of the women working here were either refugees or orphans trained under Project Phoenix. In the 1970s, it was discovered that there was a large smuggling operation within the US military where heroin was being smuggled in the caskets of US casualties going home. After the war ended, a lot of men came back with skills not really marketable and battle damaged with trauma. I theorize that each leg of the spider are 8 former USIA members apart of something similar to Project Phoenix that may still be on retainer with the USAI for their greater plan involving MK Ultra. We have two confirmed agents with Mustari and Francisco, most likely not legs of the spider but prior members of Ready or Not's version of Project Phoenix. They might not be a part of it but would be smart enough to who is pulling the strings on what operation and thus are loose ends for the agency at large. Possibly every reference to the military award certificate to Francisco Laguna is a placeholder but the award is to be there on purpose? As far as America winning Vietnam, it could be the involvement of a Vietnamese chemical company purposely sending drug manufacturing supplies is a pseudo-espionage effort by a fringe faction of former soldiers of North Vietnam seeking revenge on the US.
This is slightly more of a voice acting thing, but I think the emergency operator is a little too per-procedure in their delivery. They did a fantastic job in call 2 but call 1 I feel like there's not enough initiative with what's coming through the caller's end.
You missed two recordings that can be found in the security room. One is a phone call from someone inside and the other is a recording of the outside area before the attackers shot at those people in line
One reason I doubt I can ever play this game is because I genuinely get so enraged by these people who go out and gun down the innocent, no game has elicited this response for me besides Max Payne 3, similarly enough both games have club missions and both games make me try to kill every single enemy.
Ive been waiting for this vid, I think that some things are connected in the game without main line story bits Like Quadamah working for Ls city pizza...and the same pizza boxes being at Mindjot..meaning could he have delivered those pizzas? even tho he is not connected to Mindjot this could be a fun way that story elements blend
Fun fact: IRL, there are tiny bits of Yemen that are controlled by a branch of Al-Qaeda. Yeah, the Yemeni Civil War is that bad. Two coalitions fighting one another and Al-Qaeda as player three looting and pillaging with impunity because everyone else is too busy fighting each other. The Hand, being founded by a victim of the Shi'ite Houthis, is likely a Sunni terrorist organization. Meaning they could very well be allied with the Yemeni Al-Qaeda. So... it's worse in this timeline. The only thing that could make it worse is if The Hand declared loyalty to ISIS. Al-Qaeda's arch-enemy. Meaning the Yemeni Civil War would now be a four-way civil war.
