I was up late watching this back over home in England 🏴 on ITV tv channel and this fight was being shown before the Hearns Barkley fight. Mayweather won this fight but man he was rocking and rolling I remember thinking just one more punch and Brazier takes it but true testimony to Roger Mayweather s heart and his boxing 🥊 skill. I remember reading in the KO mag it saying Roger Mayweather was a poor man’s Tommy Hearns . Both named after snakes 🐍 Hearns being the Motor city cobra 🐍 and Mayweather the Black Mamba . Such a great era of boxing and I’m so glad I was around as a kid and a teenager to be a big fight fan at that time. I’m a 50 year fella now and I can’t stop comparing todays era and fighters to the 1980’s 🥊. Such a special time (1980-1989) 💪🥊🥊🥊
