Very strong possibility. My pair of AF V3 Proto are at nearly 200km, and I'm starting to see wear right at the front of the red rubber underneath the air pods. I have a half marathon tomorrow and then Chicago in 3 weeks....and I'm now strongly suspecting I will have to retire the shoe from racing at 300km. Which is not bad, but I had high hopes of of these hitting 500km of racing and peak workouts. Maybe Nike are noticing similar wear issues and that's why the outsole no longer has them on that DEV model?

It sounds like you need a new pair. But 300 km for a pair of Vaporfly is okay. I've had some that broke after only 50km. Good luck with your race 🙂🤞
