I've owned 2 treadmills from Nordic Track, X9I and X11I, loved those 2 machines, recently purchased the commercial 2450 and it is not comparable, the flex cushioning is awful, especially if you are used to the X style, I had a lengthy conversation with the sales rep to try to find the right machine for me, it was between the 2450 and the X22I, he said I could send it back once it was delivered and could probably forgo the restock fee. Well, no Iuck!!! Read the fine print!!! They wanted to charge me $800 to send it back. Keep in mind there are no stores to try these machines out. Terrible service!!! Now im stuck with a machine that has no cushion, has no bounce! Basically a walking machine. If you are a true runner, run fast and steer clear of this machine! #nordictrack #commercial2450
I have a 1750 that is almost 10 years old but am looking to upgrade. 😊 Does the newer 1750 have a fan? Can 1750 be used in manual mode without internet connection? Is there a tablet ledge? Thank you for the awesome review.
Can you explain what shock absorption the treadmill offers? I bought the 2450 recently and noticed that the running belt is made of hard plastic like material stead of rubber that I recall on another treadmill I used to own. I also feel some knee pain after using it. I only ran up to 6 miles per run and I usually run outside 6-10 miles for each run with no knee problems.
The 2450 and 1750 have rubber shocks. They also have some flex in the treadmill deck. The 1750 and 2450 are softer and bouncier than running on pavement (higher vertical displacement and energy restitution). Running on a different surface changes your running form, and softer/bouncier doesn't always mean better for your body unfortunately.
Can you elaborate on the active heart rate auto adjust feature. Aside from needing ifitness subscription, does it connect directly to Apple watch? Galaxy/android watch? Must you buy the $100 band?
You can easily hack the screen to play any content from your phone and access the android OS to install apps like netflix or youtube. Thats what I did on my 1750 day 1 and I love it now
@@MrBananerswould love to see how to do this. I’m wanting to buy one but don’t want to pay for the ifit subscription. Just want to run and maybe play some Netflix or Prime movies
If you want the iFIT subscription, go with NordicTrack. If you don't want to subscribe, go for Sole. Choosing between the 1750 and 2450 or the F85 and F89 really comes down to price and screen size mainly. I hope that helps. I know it's a really hard choice! Good Luck!
Did you notice any difference in performance between the screens? I assume the larger screen has a better processor. I got the 1750 and noticed its not the fastest. Its fine but feels like a 5 year old tablet already.

Would you rather walk and run on pavement?
Thank you for this. This review was exactly what I needed.

There's an app called Echo that creates an easy work around for your Apple watch. Hope this helps
Ordered the 1750 Black Friday for $300 off the next week it was $500 off. NordicTrack seamlessly adjusted the price
Glad they worked that out for you! Hope you enjoy your new treadmill!
Is the 2450 good for long distance runnning?? Like 25 kms long day distance?
Yes! I've done several long runs on the 2450. It's great, and the motor is definitely powerful enough to handle that level of use.
Great review. It is very helpful. Thanks! Should I buy 2-Year Protection for $119.99?
I would consider it. NordicTrack treadmills have a lot of tech components, so it would just give me a little more peace of mind.
Great review, was wondering about the screen and too bad that it only work for ifit

Very interesting. Can you elaborate further of the hacks? Maybe post a link. Thank you

Is there an area to plug in cord wired headphones? I do not use Bluetooth wireless headphones.
Unfortunately, there is not.
i just hate this phase because i've been looking to buy a treadmill for nearly a week now and torn between NT 1750, NT 2450 & Sole 85 & sole 89.

@@BestTreadmillReviews thank you so much :-)
Thank you
You are welcome!
I don´t care about IFIT, but I´m interested in the softest cushioning. I´´m kinda love-hate Nordictrack.

I haven't noticed a big difference between the 2450 and the 1750. It hasn't affected my ability to workout with iFIT on either machine.
Weight limit is 400lbs, not 300lbs as stated in the video. That’s for either model.
Thanks for adding this info! That was changed/updated after we filmed this video.
👍🏾
Pretty lame...22 inch screen but u have to use their ifit program to use it. Gay!
