Lol we turn the bar upside down because we rotate the bars as they wear down because the top of your bar will wear down faster than the bottom so you flip it to get it to wear equally hahaha and that chain is super loose
Glad to see another review of these awesome cheap little saws! I’ve reviewed my older example of this saw on my channel, I am planning on picking up the newest model (3900) and giving that one a test! My example only has one bar stud, and is just an older model in general. These saws are little screamers if you open up the muffler and get them tuned right!! P.s. sounds like yours needs a good carb tune asap
I had 2 and have ha no issues very tuff little machines ive cut trees and large limbs with them i would definitely buy another, the price just is amazing
hello my friend I have 3 identical machines you have to calibrate the carburetor so that it does not turn off they are very good machines they have Japanese technology in their engine and parts
Yes! I realized that and it ran very well, very strong! The problem I could not endure was fuel and oil tanks that leaked their entire contents! I am still on the search for the best cheapest saw now
I realize that you eventually figured it out....but it doesn’t make watching your initial struggles any easier! I’ve been in your shoes until I figured out how to play a carb like jimmy hendrix played the Guitar
Thanks for all the comments! I was loving this little saw after I got it tuned right. Absolute freaking screamer, and I can imagine it only gets better as that muffler gets worn in and rusty. Sadly I won’t know because mine had leaking fuel and oil tanks, and after dealing with that same issue with my Coocheer 6200 I couldn’t do it a second time, so back it went. I’ve been watching for a suitable cheap or used replacement but nothing yet, so I may go the route of the model 3900 as well. I just really don’t want another leaky tank. Badly tuned carb, inoperable chainbrake, etc are no problem, but I just can’t do anymore freakin leaks
You got to adjust those for cold weather and then you got to adjust them when it gets hot out or else you blow a motor up or won't even start just letting you know
I was thinking about the chain break issue and was wondering if you installed the bolt into the side cover along with the bar nut? From what I've seen in videos, is that those saws have an extra screw/bolt that goes into the side cover to keep the cover from flexing. That flexing could be making your brake band catch and act like the chain brake is on. Ooops I guess by now you figured what was causing the issue. I forgot to check the video posting date. 🤣
thank you I did tweak the lo and it came right to life, ended up sending it back over the leaking fuel AND oil tanks though. Going to buy a husky when I come across the right deal
I’m commenting as I watch The video, but I guarantee you that your saw could run amazing with just a Little bit of tuning and a few turns of the wrench. (Chain brake is probably loose)
Clearly lean condition on low and high speed. What a hard break in that was. Had any recoil problems with it? Nice property you got there, these cheap as saws ant bad. Thanks for the video!
Yea I was really excited about it despite the quirks. Deal breaker was when I came out next morning and both oil and gas tanks had emptied themselves in my shed. I went through that with the Coocheer chainsaw and had no desire to do it again. I may order one of the upgraded versions of this or I might not. The way the seller acted about clearly selling me a broken piece of equipment really rubbed me the wrong way. I really like my Shindaiwa hedger so maybe I’ll try one of their saws. Thanks for watching 🤙
Look disappointing if you need to adjust the carburetor immediately to keep it running it keeps stalling out I hate that they should have shipped it already adjusted and I would hope the adjusting the carburetor will make it run I would hate to have to be doing returns or have them compensate me for my time to adjusting it
Haha I eventually figured it out, what ended up doing it in for good was the leaking fuel and oil tanks. Been through that before, not again. Back it went. Sad thing was seller tried to dock me 50% for returning it used. How else would you figure out it's broken lol?? Thank goodness for eBay CS. Thinking Shindaiwa for a replacement. Thanks for watching!
You should have run it at 50-1 for the first three tanks then dropped it down to 25-1 I have some 25cc saws one is a Neo-Tec. I emailed Neo-Tec this question: On the 2500 25cc It says on the oil mix is 25-1, but I have been told you can run 40-1 are even 50-1 in it. Because in China they use 30 w oil and, in the States, we use 2 stroke oil. They replied: Dear customer, Thank you for your response. Please use a high mix like 50:1 until the saw breaks in then you can use 25 or 30:1 Please let us know If we can be of further assistance. Best regards. Neo-Tec
Yup ended up being the low jet. I sent it back though, fuel and oil tanks were leaky and I didn’t feel like dealing with that again in a brand new saw :/

I’ve loved my examples of this saw! Especially the newest version (3900) just needs a tune!
All it needs is for you to turn OUT the Low speed screw.
You’ve possible already scored the cylinder by running it so lean…

Neo-Tec are wrong. You want more oil to start with if anything, so 25:1 and then 40:1 with a decent 2 Stroke oil
you got it backwards but yes start 25:1 first five tanks full then go 50:1

lol I just tweaked the low jet a little bit and it ran just fine. I will absolutely admit I was hamming it up a bit for the camera
looks a lot like an echo 2511t
The carburator has to be adjusted

NEEDS ANOTHER 1/4 TURN
Very entertaining. I want a chainsaw but I probly shouldn't own one.
I’ll be the first to admit I prob shouldn’t have any power tools either but God damn they are fun! 👍
