This entire ride is absolutely stunning, both visually and creatively. I need to get to Shanghai sometime soon...
This ride is fantastic! because they created their own storyline instead of a clone Pirates of the Caribbean like at Disneyland. The projections are amazing and the animatronics are fantastically done with really good programing!
That Jack Sparrow skeleton coming to life was sick. I need to go there.
This version of PotC gives me chills every time I watch any ride video of it, especially when the passengers boat submerges into the bottom of the sea with At World's End theme playing....GOOSEBUMPSSS
Fantastic combinations of practical effects and astounding projections.
IT IS a stunning ride. I watch this over and over again. It is nice on this one to see the effects all line up like they should. The door after Davey Jones, the sword battle after the two ships. It looks like a real sword flies out of the screen when they are fighting each other! Amazing ride!
This was absolutely stunning, it feels SO REAL
That person with the flashlight needs to be taught a lesson on what NOT to do. 😐
Ugh that awful person taking flash photos throughout the whole attraction - Constantly ruining it for others!
Ryan Lamont I actually grabbed a guy’s camera and threw it into the water for doing that. Chucked it right into the water.
@@brettbarnett3465 Proof? Cause I don't believe you.
Awesome video even with someone using flash photography. The view from not-the-front shows how that boat swings around and points you in different directions, awesome! The door after Davy Jones was working and was much more dramatic reveal. And the middle scene after the 2 pirate ships shows more of the sword fight. I like the yo-ho song they put in!
That was incredible.
this is quite scarier than one usually from any Disneyland ride, even for 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.
I love this ride 😍
I'm torn because I love the practical effects, the CG on the screens gets outdated really quick. But the way they used it it looks like it adds to the practical effects vs replacing them
An amazing feat of Imagineering!
I'm gonna throw that person who's taking flash pics off of the darn ride >.>
This ride is amazing but the fact there are dumbos taking flash photographs on the ride really just ruins it
3:35 is that person taking a picture with flashes on of the SCREEN? how obnoxious is that? really annoyed by that during the video, makes me want to take that phone of his/her hand and throw in the water
They changed the ending?
Seems like the cup is not nocked over anymore and the mounds of treasure do not disappear....but how the vehicle moves is so much clearer in this video its amazing!
from what I understand is that there are two endings. one where the treasure stays and one where it disappears on him
jagiraldo2004 The "good" ending might only happen if some of the effects in that scene aren't working. Just speculation.
Makes sense! From things I've heard they've had problems with the treasure effect so perhaps they changed it to something that works a bit better for them?
I heard the new boat ride in Avatar land is the same as this just Pandora not under the sea on the screens.
gissneric yeah I think so, but if it is true then I'm going to be really happy because I think this might just be the best attraction Disney has EVER produced!
Luke Morris its smaller and it'll have more screens that this and with 1 AA lol
I hope that's true.
except it lasts 4 minutes
MrMagic they're were actually a lot of scenes ( the ceilings had them and multiple walls had them.
I want an American version of this in California Adventure. Disney, make it happen right now!
I thought flash photography was bad in Disneyland
They guy with flash should be banned
too bad only, that the people with the flashlights are ruining It for Everybody. The illusions really do not work with flashlights.
Can't Disney tell the chinese about that fact !??
Wait what happened to the Jack's disappearing gold effect at the end?
its still there. 2 random endings, either he keeps the treasure or it becomes seaweed
We need this in Disneyland California
You already do but the original version
They need to pitch that person with the flash overboard - no basic sense of etiquette. Actually, I'm pretty sure it was more than one person.
Didn't finish the video because of that woman taking pictures with a flash very annoying
I prefer Anaheim’s Pirates.
Anaheim's Pirates is so much more simple than this
Cool. But it focuses on the movies more than the ride IP. I much prefer just the ride IP.
Should've sat in the front row.
