Just stare at them, silently. Don't nod. Don't acknowledge they exist. Just stare. Eventually they'll get weirded out and leave. Often a lot sooner than you might think. And bonus: You'll probably never have to deal with them again.

I agree with a lot of what was stated in the video. But then again, despite being typed as an 1w9 INTJ, I may be mistyped. But assuming I'm correctly typed, there are a few areas in which I differ. This isn't only about your video, it's about all the INTJ descriptions. Primarily, I'm not drawn to scientific or technological fields, I'm drawn to the humanities (history, psychology, religion and philosophy) where I can absorb what I read and contemplate what I absorb. In this aspect I'm a mix of the INTP's analytical mindset and the INFJ's understanding of human beings. I direct my thinking and philosophy to people over ideas and systems, but at the same time I detach rather than engage with them personally. Because of this, I don't feel myself being as harsh when it comes to engaging with people as is often said about INTJs. I find myself capable of understanding their emotional needs full well, and I tend to take it into account to ensure efficiency, but I often find emotional reasoning to be irrational (in other words I do it for the sake of progress rather than hostile relationships which could bring efficiency down, but I don't agree with their reasoning).. Some have said this has to do with a higher development of Fi, what do you think?
Daniel Waring Thanks for your reply. I've been considering INFJ as well. But then there's a few things, commonly associated with Fe, that I just can't relate to. (1) I'm not people-pleasing in the sense most Fe-users are. When there's conflict between my values (morals) and the values of others (manners), I any day stick to my morals. While a conflict may bother me emotionally, it's a necessary evil to keep integrity. (2) I'm a loner, voluntarily. While it's true that I like deep and meaningful conversations, I don't go out of ym way to find people. If it weren't for school and my need for food from the store, I could go years without human interaction. (3) I don't get caught up in the emotions of others. While I find myself capable of reading people well, knowing what to say, I don't get caught up in their emotions. Lets say there has been a tragic incident happening and people are grieving, I don't get caught up in the atmosphere. I stick with whatever emotion I personally feel. In terms of counselling, I give people advice, but I'm only getting caught up in my own emotions, and I seek to keep it that way. I don't go to others, asking to borrow a shoulder. I deal with these things within, privately. Emotions aren't something I just casually show outwardly. (4) My face. I don't find myself expressing so many emotions as is said about Fe in INFJs. But I do express my emotions in "all our nothing" terms of laughs and facial expression outbursts, especially when conversating with someone. But generally my face is jsut unanimated, it only gets expressive when I engage in a conversation. Tho it all depends on the context there.

Anybody else in the paradox of INTJ'ing about being an INTJ? Like everything in my life now refers back to me being an INTJ and now I notice others types and make judgements and assume their type and I always find out that I'm correct when they take the test
Here is my theory: People with high IQs have spectrum of personalities, I have INTP and INTJ interchangeable, and when I am too depressed I am INFP which is rare.
Se, Te, and Ni (what NTJs have) are all more concretely attuned and cognitively narrow/intense than Si, Ti, and Ne (which is what NTPs have). NTJs and NTPs are often similar in interests, but they lie at different extremes with regards to cognition. This series might help: www.celebritytypes.com/blog/2012/12/guide-to-jungian-function-axes/
Maybe this is just me but does anyone else cringe people comment "not you ____" basically stupid things on tiktok to seem intimidating or mean when they see something they don't agree with. Is that an intj thing or just me
ThinkShink So sadly i'm lost to wonder in willow trees. :p Is it possible to make an INTJ laugh if you tickle him xD Only then will the frown turn heavenly again. ;)
iiispazzz That sounds pretty home spoken to me. :p Why does the Ti then become so irrational? Such an aggressive decision for a small touch. Since when does rationality not play a role, in human treatment, lol?
its wrong to say that they dont believe in big ideas .....i think they work towards a big idea in building a better world ..thats why they are logical......i think they are they o es to. reate big ideas and ideals....
Ah, I see that you guys are uploading a whole series by Jesse. My apologies. I thought it was just the INTJ description from OJJT, since that's the only one on there.
I am a black woman, a lesbian and an INTJ, and therefore a statistical anomaly on several fronts. Oh, and an atheist. I have no tolerance for insecure men or chatty women, or people who want to bond by complaining about misogyny, shitty landlords, irresponsible roommates, or whose belief in gods, luck, or conspiracy theories belie common sense. The result; I have been single for over ten years. This seems likely to continue for quite some time to come, nevertheless, I am quite satisfied with most areas of my life, and my peace of mind is considerably greater than it was than when I was with my last partner. Much of this sense of peace seems to due to having accepted several essential features of my nature, greatly informed by having learned about the INTJ type. I enjoyed the video.
You can screenshot the pictures, crop them and use Google Image Seach (or something to that effect) to find out which art pieces were used, assuming there are a few you just need to know. Would be a bit bothersome to do with all of them...
This is a worthwhile comment, since we are touchy about being plagiarized ourselves (it has happened to us several times, as we believe it has happened to Pierce, and it's not cool). First, let us state that the purpose of this video is to introduce the type to beginners and not to do a function breakdown as in Pierce's series. Then, there is the question of similarity in aesthetics. This is tricky because we wrote about fine arts and classical music and related them to types before Pierce. And the effect applied to what is basically a slideshow is the default (and in our opinion: the only worthwhile) setting in a piece of movie making software that we both use, and that we've used since 2012. However, it will probably be better for everyone if the expressions aren't too similar. For the next video, we'll try to produce it using different software.
+CelebrityTypes That's merely one opinion. Don't give it undue weight. His are good, but I find some of his insights to be off the mark a bit, which made more sense to me when I found out he was not an INTJ (or even a rational, I believe). Any of these that bring extra content and clarity or even fun are valuable. I liked this one enough to share it on Facebook--something I've not done with many others.

Sentimental I am & my chemistry teacher was too crappy!
I wonder when they will make a video about the infj personality type???
CelebrityTypes please make a video about the infj! 😊

Fascinating, I am one too!
"there's no emotion in my face cuz I'm numb" - Lil Uzi vert
for somereason I have almost all the INTP and INTJ characteristics. its really weird.
Somewhat arrogant?!
Silence, peasant! :D
+CelebrityTypes Hulk smashes you around and says "Puny God."

Somewhat? I would say alot haha
@@idrlabs😂
Please do one videos for INTPs also !!
Coming.
I want autonomy Now !
specifics of an idea vs generalities could you please explain further?
Se, Te, and Ni (what NTJs have) are all more concretely attuned and cognitively narrow/intense than Si, Ti, and Ne (which is what NTPs have). NTJs and NTPs are often similar in interests, but they lie at different extremes with regards to cognition. This series might help: www.celebritytypes.com/blog/2012/12/guide-to-jungian-function-axes/
You mistakenly gave the link to the ENTP vs. INTP test in the description.
The proper link: www.celebritytypes.com/test/intj-or-intp.php
Fixed, thanks!
Maybe this is just me but does anyone else cringe people comment "not you ____" basically stupid things on tiktok to seem intimidating or mean when they see something they don't agree with. Is that an intj thing or just me
Excellent, thanks!
Thank you!
As a ENTP i wanna poke a INTJ with my finger? :)
Just to see the furby react. xD muahahaw.
Which will cause us to give you no reaction, much to your open rage and our hidden enjoyment.
ThinkShink So sadly i'm lost to wonder in willow trees. :p Is it possible to make an INTJ laugh if you tickle him xD Only then will the frown turn heavenly again. ;)
+Sound Vector I have yet to collect data on INTJ tickling. ;)
I'm an INTJ and when people attempt to poke/tickle me, I make sure they see their death in my eyes.
iiispazzz That sounds pretty home spoken to me.
Why clarinets?!
Why are you guys doing INTJ again? There are other types that don't even have a description on the site.
I used to wonder if it would literally kill CT to do an even remotely extensive portrait of INFPs.
I don't wonder anymore.
Working on it!
It's coming. You guys are not an easy type to get right, you know. Even Jung's portrait of the Fi type was pretty vague. But it will be there.
Ah, I see that you guys are uploading a whole series by Jesse. My apologies. I thought it was just the INTJ description from OJJT, since that's the only one on there.
No problem. It's not just Jesse though. But yeah, some types will have two videos, eventually, perhaps even all. ^^
Good summery

the story of my life
hey i have to pay to register on celerity types.com and i want to see all the faous intjs and other types ?
"Unconsciously observant"... as an INTJ I think you mean subconsciously
We use the correct psycho-dynamic terminology.
Wrong. He means unconsciously.
Zoki Kuzmanovski silence peasant!
Boy, am I a weird f***!
Can you put sources of used arts? Thanks in advance
You can screenshot the pictures, crop them and use Google Image Seach (or something to that effect) to find out which art pieces were used, assuming there are a few you just need to know. Would be a bit bothersome to do with all of them...
I made a list in the above post.
I need a religion, INTJ :p :) As an angel.
INTJs are atheists or pastafarians.
+epistte intj here. Gnostic
+epistte Christian intj here.
@@BrokTheLoneWolf no, you’re not. You cannot be both.

lol he just read a site which is the 16personalities.com
Good video, great paintings and an ugly thumbnail.
Michael Pierce does this better. :(
This is a worthwhile comment, since we are touchy about being plagiarized ourselves (it has happened to us several times, as we believe it has happened to Pierce, and it's not cool).
If you are plagiarized by Pierce why don't you do something about it? You tube has it's ways!
