  • Sharing a peek inside a day of what I eat during pregnancy! I'm in my second trimester now and try to focus my pregnancy nutrition on protein, a variety of fruits/veggies, and whole grains.     I am allergic to animal products, so I don't have a choice. I don't care what you choose to eat. Like you said, it's your choice. I'm still a fan.

    I started following you when I was eating a vegan diet, and I now too eat dairy, meat, gluten. I eat everything and feel better because of it!

    What type of protein powder did you add to the yogurt? I'm currently prego with #2 and both times have not been able to keep down the regular protein powders i use. Thanks!

    Could you explain about reincorporating the gluten while pregnant? I had gluten allergy based on some zoomer test. I avoided gluten for 3 years but during my pregnancy I had a strong cravings to anything with gluten. I tried a little but checked online and freaked out about the risk of neurological disorders that it may cause to the baby… i feel very frustrated cause i’m not sure all these non-FDA approved tests are valid or not. I look forward to knowing about your thoughts on this! Thanks ❤

    Everything looks so yummy!! So happy that you're happy! I am wondering though what made you start consuming animal products again? Crave? Do you feel your body needs that specific source of nutrients? (A mix of both perhaps). I feel like the more time and attention you spend on your food the more intuitive you get with what your body needs. I often question what it would take for me break my strike (I was vegan and now vegetarian for 5 years). Obviously lack of choice would be number one, traveling and maybe having a unique opportunity that I think could never happen again, but I can definitely see how pregnancy can be a strong motive too. I also think about the fact that if I had to I would also choose to consume fish before meat, and I think it's related to my own capacity of extending my circle of compassion to mammals first, and fish second. It's strange that, I think. Sorry for the long comment, eheh I think it's an interesting discussion! Again, super happy for you mama! Enjoy! :)

    Congratulations on completing your 2nd trimester of pregnancy. Hope you both are happy & healthy. But adding gluten & meat in your diet isn’t making you feel discomfort? I was a hardcore meat eater, but since I turned vegan I felt good. I had meat to check the difference & I felt so much indigestion

      I think it’s important to remember that everyone is different! I feel better eating this way but other really thrive being fully plant-based. It’s all about what works for YOU ❤

    The fact that you have to state it's your personal choice to change your diet, says alot about the US. They are extremely close minded for being labeled as an open minded society.
