Agreed, but when building a guitar, there should be more guitar music in the video. I find that a little more enjoyable. Still the first good looking headless in my opinion.
I think your channel is great. You inspire me very much. Your videos are not only a documentation they are art I think. ❤️ The music and the mood that your videos have are great and your guitars anyway 🙏 Because of you I have now also got me a Cnc machine 🤩
Outstanding work Mr. Gutierrez... you're content is a pleasure to watch. I wish I had known about GGBO earlier, you'd have had my vote both years. The almost retro-futurism evident in your conceptualizations, and music, is terrific.
If this stunning beautiful piece of art does not win, then there is no justice any more in this world. I can’t believe my eyes, I can’t believe my ears. You Sir are a true artist, a genius. I think you might have just built the best guitar in the world!!!!!!
This is the only headless, fanned fret guitar I have seen that I not only liked, but loved. This is a really special build and you executed it flawlessly. Great job sir!
About half way through this video I realised my breathing had slowed and I was relaxing and enjoying watching the whole process. I'm not much of a spiritual person but I'd describe this as the most Zen thing I've watched.
Just beautiful, everything about this is amazing ... I’ve watched a million videos of guitar builds, but you’ve taken it to another level, filming, editing and music all top notch, makes for great and very entertaining watch ... I’d love to take that guitar for a spin, very cool indeed ... wish you all the best with your guitar building ...
I wanted so much to hate it seeing so much machining - by the end I absolutely loved it - should be displayed in a museum for everyone to see. Sheer out of the box brilliance. Hats off to you brother.
Thank you. The gold was actually a happy accident. Originally the neck was supposed to be simply aluminum but it scratched too easily even with a clear coat. I needed to coat it in something durable. The gold came out better than I expected. And the contrast with the walnut was definitely a win.
Simply Stunning, It is the first headless guitar that I have thought "OH! i want A headless Guitar" and not just any headless guitar either. As someone who has never been a fan of the style this may just have changed my mind. Congratulations.
Magnets! I bonded two small magnets to the single coil and three magnets to the humbucker. There are matching magnets in the pickup cavities inset into the wood. The heights do not need to be adjusted because all that geometry has been figured out in CAD. They are at the perfect height.
The level of precision is amazing. But, what is even more impressive and valuable is how sleek and well designed the guitar is. No wasted effort on trivial non-functional components. The efficiency of its design shows up in the elegant beauty of the finished guitar. It also has the most beautiful headless design I've ever seen. It looks like a joy to play, and sounds wonderful. Well done sir. Of the guitars I've seen in the build so far, yours is by far the best. I hope you win. Good luck! Thanks
Every choice well thought out and nice, artistic choices at that. Even with the pickups and them being hydro dipped. Great design and great playing. I am going to watch this again.
Super sweet of you to say John. Thanks for the comment. I have so much of that hydro-dip material left. I'm gonna experiment dipping everything I can get my hands on in the next few weeks.
What a great job! I was not sure that I would like the result, but I am very pleasantly surprised by the rendering of this magnificent instrument. Finally a real guitar from the 21st century. When modernity coexists with traditions. A french fan
I’ve always gravitated toward neck builds that factor in equal parts fine art and engineering. You, sir, have taken it beyond the next level. 👍🏼 on your mesmerizing video production as well. I hope you place in ggbo ‘21.
This is such an amazing design in almost every point. The finesse of the headstock, slim body curves, the pickups, the fretboard... It’s incredible. I would wish for a somewhat lighter bridge but also understand this may not be physically tenable. It stays absolutely beautiful. Great work!
As a college student, I can’t wait to get the tools to do something a lot more ass but similar. So long as it warms my heart and plays like a fiddle. 😎👍 inspiring work
I loved seeing the well thought through design slowly appear. The filming and coloration of it with the music was great too. I hope that you win an award!
Thanks John. I watched your Red Special Trem vid. Love the clean routes on the top of the guitar. Why do you think the Brian May style Trem never really took off? Such a clean, minimal look.
Thanks Mark! I don't know why the Red Special trem didn't take off. Maybe people think it's harder than it is to install. I find it to hit the sweet spot of the rate of pitch change per amount of movement. I have only two things issues with it. 1, after decades of using a bar, I like having the pivot point right next to my pinky so I subconsciously hook my finger around when I need it, the RS trem being so much further away I have to consciously find it to put it into action. 2, sometimes I like to hammer the back side of the bridge for that effect Lukather and Jeff Beck use, you can't to that with the Red Special. Going into this, I expected issue #2, I didn't anticipate issue #1, it's annoying to have to search of the bar. Other than those two issues it performs extremely well.
Wow. I really was ready to dislike this guitar but it is the perfect combination of modern and elegance. Great job! Love that the headless part became a peace of art and you didn't just lop off the end of it.
A beautiful build Mark 👏👏 & a video worthy of the expertise in it’s crafting. The is a truly elite, high end, next guitar and part of it’s allure is that it’s absolutely unattainable to most of us.
Ive always liked the practicality of a headless guitar, evem having never played on, it makes sense. And the cool factor, but this is the first one Ive liked the aesthetic. It’s still got a headstock shape, which is a big part of the personality.
Always thought that. Why can 't a headless guitar have a headstock? No machine heads doesn't negate the need to finish the neck with some semblance of style, as displayed here. Most adequately.

A minute in, I had every intention of hating this video and the guitar. I was thoroughly proven wrong.
Thanks so much for watching! Happy you made it through.
Rad Mark! Looks very comfortable... nice demo too!
Thanks so much, and thanks for watching!
Stunning - I would say the first headless guitar I have ever seen where some real thought has gone into the aesthetic of the headless end.
Thanks for saying that. I spent a great deal of time on the form and function of the headless portion.
Agreed, but when building a guitar, there should be more guitar music in the video. I find that a little more enjoyable. Still the first good looking headless in my opinion.

Wow! Just totally Wow!!! Mark I watched hi three years ago and rewatched it tonight and am still blown away.
Omg. It's so sleek 😍
Incredible concept, design, execution. And vid production too.
Thanks a bunch.
...and really fantastic music!!! GREAT

Wow!! That's another level!! Really nice choices! Beautiful guitar - very special. Well filmed also! Great job, my friend!!
Many thanks!!
Beautiful. I love when guitars are functional pieces of art.
This guitar is a triumph! Just gorgeous, and it was beautiful to see the care and workmanship that went into every detail. Thank you for this video.
A beautiful expression of art and function.
Flawless construction. Now all the best guitars really have been built.
I so was ready to hate this but man what a piece of work! Very innovative and modern, you also play pretty well by the way 👏
Super kind words. Thank you.
Not gonna lie the intro does sound pretty damn pretentious
Simply amazing. One of the best (if not the best) guitar build I’ve ever seen. A master piece!
About half way through this video I realised my breathing had slowed and I was relaxing and enjoying watching the whole process. I'm not much of a spiritual person but I'd describe this as the most Zen thing I've watched.
Beautiful comment. Thanks Steven.
Fabulous man. Incredible build. So glad the you documented the project.
Breathtaking beautiful. Especcialy the head: a work of art! Potential winner. Rob
That is ASMR for guitar geeks! 👍
Amazing work! 👏👏👏
This guitar came out beautiful! Thank you for sharing. The headless neck looks awesome! Creative.
Fascinating - and fabulous 'sci-fi' video, complete with guitar free soundtrack - until the final reveal.

STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL WORK OF ART !

You DID it, Sir! You sold me on a Zero headstock guitar; not an easy task. Your opening statement got my attention.
I’ve always hated headless guitars. But this thing is gorgeous.
Amazing craftsmanship, incredible out-of-the-box invention, tastefully subtle design and aesthetics. Signs of a master craftsman. Beautifully done, sir.
dont know what i am more impressed with your skills building or playing . hats off pal .
the most beautyfull guitar I`ve ever seen.
The video also builds up nice : ) Really good, interesting design plus proper playing.
Thank you very much!
Originality, aesthetic and attention to details. Stunning beauty
super beautiful, elegant and original. wow.
That looks incredible! The gold accents the walnut so well, and I love the aluminium neck. Well done man!
Thank you. The gold was actually a happy accident. Originally the neck was supposed to be simply aluminum but it scratched too easily even with a clear coat. I needed to coat it in something durable. The gold came out better than I expected. And the contrast with the walnut was definitely a win.
its kind of a funny oxymopron to be able to design the head shape of a headless guitar.
Amazing design, video and final results! Wow.
Beautiful build. You have a very different approach to guitar building than I do, but your results are incredible. Kudos!
Wow.......just...... just wow......... good lord. Don't ever stop.
Thanks! I'm half-way through with the next build already.
This is a beautiful instrument. You've officially made me want a CNC machine haha.
Looks real nice, that wood and sparkly golden finish contrast on the "headstock"! also great playing in the end, love the leads
Great build and excellent video production too. Well done.
Thank you very much!
I predict this is the winner of GGBO 2021, an instrument of that sounds and looks beautiful, great job 👍👍👌
Wow, thanks!

I love that every single one has a different approach and style.
This headless is one that I would rock out
Very impressive beautiful idea and guitar u are in the future congrats! But how u fix the pickup whitout the extender plate and screw?

Incredible build and incredible quality vid.
amazing guitar and cool music throughout the video
This guitar makes me happy. Masterful.
Excellent use of materials! Design is very unique as well. Nice work! Duracoat is amazing paint, expensive, but worth it.

Absolutely incredible! Some real skill involved there. How anyone could give that guitar a dislike is beyond me. 🤷♂️
People dislike the weird af guy. Not the guitar.

Awesome crafting and playing!
Incredibly high "wtfs per minute" readings on this one
Absolutely flawless. You clearly know what you are doing with that CNC. The only unusual design choice for me was the flat fretboard.
I like flat fretboards.
That thing is gorgeous man. And I like the way you fixed the neck to the body.
Thanks. That's one of my favorite parts too.
