They really do sound so similar. It threw me off for a bit but I feel like Damien's is a little huskier or deeper maybe? They could definitely pass for each other tho Also the video is in sections of who's narrating lol
Despite me being only 13 years old, I also grew up with Steve in blue‘s clues so once he came back, I was also pretty much crying with joy as I only watched the older episodes as a toddler
As someone a bit older who watched it while it was still on, it's really cool to see that it stuck around as long as it did (even if that was only in the form of reruns). With the reboot, I'll admit I wasn't exactly thrilled as I'd assumed it would be a soulless cash grab like most other reboots and I didn't feel Blues Clues deserved that treatment, but I was honestly really happy when I saw that he'd made an appearance on it as it indicated that it was gonna be good and from the bit I've seen - which to be fair isn't much - it exceeded my expectations. I'm glad yet another generation will be able to experience the series, especially with the involvement of Steve haha
My dog died a few months back, I had him since I was a little kid and I was extremely depressed when he died but watching you guys videos made me feel a lot better. Thanks Emkay crew you guys make my day each time I watch your videos.
19:17 There was an old man at my old highschool. He had cerebral palsy or something of the sort? I honestly forgot what it was, but he couldn't move very well. He was in a wheelchair and always leaned to one side, his body stayed in the same position. He couldn't talk but he could sorta slowly move his arm back and forth. He had a board on his wheelchair with the alphabet on it, and yes and no. Like a Ouija board kinda looking thing. He would point stuff out on it to talk. He could sorta smile and had this cackling laugh that was the only sound he could really make. He had been a student at that highschool since he was young, literally my father (in his mid 60s currently) went to school with him, and then I (18 currently) also went to school with him. Weird to have the same classmate as my father, in the same school. You would think that the man (his name was George) would have been bullied, but no. He was actually massively popular! The middle school is included in the high school building and sometimes, well behaved middle schoolers were allowed to escort him home as a sort of reward at the end of the school day. It was seen as a massive privilege. He took a long time to communicate, as he had to use the board and his hand moved very slowly, but he could hear you perfectly fine and people were very patient with him. I had a couple conversations with him while I attended there, he was a funny guy. Always joking around and making silly faces with the few facial muscles he could still move. I think it really taught a lot of us students how to interact with disabled people, or people who are sorta different. He was treated like one of the kids, we often forgot he was actually an old man. He was in on our jokes and was a lot like a teenager in an old disabled body. He would get in trouble wirh his nurses, but it was all harmless fun and he absolutely loved making trouble with the teachers. He got endless amusement out of disrupting classes and making gross jokes. Great guy. Everyone loved George. He died recently and everyone was devastated, I didn't know him too well and don't attend that school anymore, but I just know it was a dark day at that highschool. He was a student for decades on decades, by choice because he just loved being there. That school was really shitty, in a bad part of the town with a lot of issues and most of the kids were assholes, but everything lightened up a bit when George was around. We were all poor kids, food bank bullshit, you know? Abusive parents were common, most kids either sold or did drugs. Urine in the hallways, cops called often. But you didn't fuck with George. He was the only thing untouched by the shittiness of that town.
I just want to say thank you for getting me through HOURS (20+) of summer math modules. Damien's laugh is the best therapy. You too lovely comment reader! Thank you for supporting this amazing channel!
1:27:20 I love this image; the awesome costume, her huge smile and the fact you can see her cute little feetsies sticking out when she’s on the ground all combine and raise my serotonin level. Blessed story: I used to have this cat named stub and he was a black cat with a stubbed tail who was REALLY fat. I mean REALLY fat. He was like a beach ball. He was a stray, and as hard as we tried, he would not tolerate being inside for his whole life so he would go outside for the day and come back at night to sleep. Eventually his fatness was becoming an issue so the vet made him a diet plan and he JUST GOT FATTER. After living a long life when he passed away the neighbors all said that stub would walk up to their porch, beg for food, and they would all give him treats. We had no idea.
