I know its a ton of work! Gracias. You touch on a lot of things which i agree are super important. One thing that helped me since day 1 is that im a first born in the usa and i watched my mom learn English my entire life. So i knew what a monumental task it would be. When i started i thought it would be drudgery, hard work. After about a week i realized that i found it difficult yet rewarding! Similar to doing a crossword puzzle. Challenging but fun at the same time. I use duolingo which encourages you to practice daily. But the #1 thing for me is my internal motivation. I speak it when i go on vacation. So when i practice it, it sort of takes me to my happy place. Plus ive discovered that i absolutely love reggaeton and other spanish music. Spanish is an accent to my life and i love it. I was 47 when i first started learning it! Thanks for the video, there were just a few words here and there that i didnt know. I try not to look at the subtitles. Its so gradual that i dont think ill ever master Spanish but i dont mind, i enjoy the journey!

Basically, all music like Bad Bunny or any kind or Regetón or Trap, is about sex and how to have sex with a sexy girl, with words like swear words, dirty words and like that. Just it, you got all the songs translated.

Gracias! Empecé este ano nuevo con la meta de estudiar español con constancia y ahora he llegado a un punto donde no quiero estudiar nada de español. Pero he estado hablando con unas personas de mi trabajo en español, una familia en una tienda, y ahora tengo amigos que hablan español. Todo llega, poco a poco, aprender un idioma requiere mucho esfuerzo, mucha paciencia y es una maratón, no es el camino del que te dicen los falsos políglotas de que vas a aprender muy rápido un idioma y en solo un año o MENOS! No es cierto, puedo decirte que yo tras un año y medio aprendiendo inglés he conseguido un B1 y he hablado con gente de fuera por internet sin casi problemas y he podido ver videos en Inglés y leer artículos de periódico. Y también es algo toxico en linea cuando "poliglotas" nos dicen como han aprendido un idioma en un tiempo tan corto porque entonces nos sentimos desesperanzados. The biggest reason learning Spanish is so difficult in the US is because every latino Spanish spiking community has its own way of spiking and what every Spanish class is trying to teach you is Spanish en (Castellano) in (Castilian) so the confusion is crazy only Spanish spikers will understand.
RIGHT because my dad is El Salvador. And I don’t know where he is . But I asked my uncle (my dad’s brother) do they speak El Salvador Spanish cause there’s a difference. I hope he responds. This is so hard

Do u take folks to PR to experience Spanish immersion in language and culture? I would like to go to PR and study intensively for a month but not sure how to do this. I am 65 and retired and my lifelong dream is to become fluent and PR Spanish and culture was my first exposure to learning the language.
I'm not sure he could personally do this, but going to puerto Rico is pretty cheap, and living there is too. I'm a mixed puerto rican guy, (PR, and black) but ive never stepped foot on the Island myself. What your saying sounds like a wonderful idea though. Just get some money, head there with your qife or husband or whatever, and just live with your spanish. Sounds like youll force yourself into situations that you normally wouldnt be in, with is good.

I love that mixed of caribbean and american accent. But I recommend you to speak in a more neutral accent. And use please this symbols "¡" (it's not an "i" it's the beginning of a exclamation mark) "¿" it seems stupid, but it's an orthographic mistake in Spanish.
