    Hola Rocky! Thanks for being great at teaching Spanish to non-native speakers as myself. I have been trying to learn Spanish for a long time. I should be fluent by now. But I’m still struggling. I am learning a lot from watching your videos. I’m going to start being brave and try speaking more with my church members and other Spanish friends. Your videos are the BEST to me! Gracias! Dios te bendiga! ❤❤😊

      Never aim to be fluent. Even in our native languages, we are learning new words and meanings each day, so never aim to be fluent and put pressure on yourself. Always aim to just be able to communicate and understand. If you can describe something in the language you are learning, consider that an accomplishment. I can communicate in Portuguese and understand the gist of things, but I am still learning each and every day. I can read Spanish and understand spoken spanish ok due to portuguese, but speaking is an issue.

    Heyy Rocky! Could you do a part 2 of this using imperfect vs preterite with these same examples? you would only use the preterite for #3 (obligation) and the rest are imperfect in the past tense but are there any more examples or reasons to use tener in the preterite?

    Hola Rocky!! Estaba escuchando algo music en español y me noté el uso de “pa.” en lugar de “para”. No seguro si este podría estar una tema de un video(contracciones comunes, slang), pero algo ayuda me apreciaría, gracias.

    • @filippoxx1
      @filippoxx1 Рік тому

      Hola Jack! En realidad la palabra ¨pa¨ no existe, es solo un uso inapropiado o inadecuado de la palabra ¨para¨. A pesar de que muchas personas utilizan ¨pa¨, mi consejo es que uses para. Saludos!

    Can someone tell my why "una" isn't needed in "Tengo novia"? I know it's not needed for occupations like "Ella es camarera" but I'm not sure why novia doesn't require it in that sentence

    I wish you would also say the literal translation in english, not just the meaning in english. E.g. I am 10 years in Spanish literally means I have 10 years old. That helps me comprehend the logic much better. Thank you for your videos.
