*visible confusion* Okay I have theory: This engine came here for an exhibition for British Railways but was not taken home as steam being removed from BR stock slowly started and they left it there to be dismantled but a pond had weakened the track where she was gonna be stored and she plunged right in and left her there to save money

@user-ug6gd2ud8g Well, we tech did have a British Steam Engine run in America. LNER 4472, aka The Flying Scotsman, came to America in 1970 and operated here until 1973 when he went back to the UK.
Please save her she is beautiful I am literally crying 😭 I would do anything to save her it hurts seeing her like that I would love to se her in steam again you can use trucks and cranes to get her out you just need to be careful with the old girl i would love to have her in real life if i could please please try your best to save her 😭🙏🏻

A british steam locomotive has been found. Its unrecognizable due to it being in really bad shape. It looks to be a GWR later BR Hall Class locomotive. That british steam engine deserves another chance. Gustavtime F40PH #105 could do the job.
How did a British steam locomotive ended up in America and Abandoned, it might be lost, I think it well be restored to operation and return to home back to UK.

That engine shows all the necessary signs of a Swindon build and it needs to be saved
If I had to take a crack in terms of ID it it’ll probably be a saint hall or a manner class among the GWR 10 wheelers
Mainly because it was either built with a standard one Swindon boiler or a standard seven Swindon boiler
