Attempt two of recovering the GP20 from the mountain. They had to take out parts to lighten the GP20. The GP20 was a movie prop which explains why it was on a mountain to begin with. Gustavtime has successful recovered the GP20 from the mountain. Restoration and repair work commenced as soon as the GP20 arrived. The old GP20 from the mountain has returned to service as CN #7235. From a movie prop to operational equipment piece for Canadian National. It joins the #6554 with a train. WB CN #7235

I know for a fact on one of the shorts that the mountain deisel runs under its own power so why didn't you just bring a fuel tanker and drive it to you restoration works

Actually, even if the GP20 is essentially a shell, a helo like the Tiger attack helo you've used can't carry that loco is really heavy. Helos have a limit in what they can lift into the air. Attack helos have a load limit similar to helos like the Bell JetRanger, which is pretty small, and if this was done in real life, the helo could only lift the loco a few meters. That's why I recommended a Skycrane helo in the last video: theoretically, tow of those heavy lifters can carry it out of the mountain easily. Its a good thing this is fiction, because if this wouldn't work in real life.
As impressive as that rescue and restoration were, I do have one question... HOW IN THE NAME OF MATTHIAS BALDWIN DID THAT DIESEL EVEN END UP IN TOP OF THAT MOUNTAIN IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?!?!?!
