DC Animated Universe: ULTIMATE Joker Laugh Compilation (MARK HAMILL)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 сер 2017
- Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, I give you: The Joker's Laugh Compilation!
What we have here is every single laugh, cackle, and giggle by Mark Hamill's magnificent portrayal as the Joker during his entire run in the DC Animated Universe (DCAU) from 1992-2003.
This includes the following cartoon series': Batman The Animated Series, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, The New Batman Adventures, Superman The Animated Series, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, Static Shock, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited.
Each laugh track is in chronological order by date aired (which most consider to be the most accurate order in-canon since the numbering of episodes did not always line up in continuity).
Hope you enjoy, and keep laughing!

Mark Hamill: "His laugh should be like a musical instrument!"
exactly
He also said it should be like the pallettes on a color wheel, that it should reflect his mood.
And that it has become.
Gleeful? Intimidating?
16:32 will always be my favorite Joker laugh. If I had been in that room when it was first recorded, I would’ve been convinced that Mark Hamill had finally lost it. 🤣
I love the slow buildup. Starts tame, and just keeps building
@@BrodyReyno Well said, it's terrifying and yet so damn good.
Jack Nicholson's laughs after he fried the mob Guy is similar to this eerily
Fun fact: Everyone did think he actually lost it that time. (R.I.P Kevin Conroy)
This and Static Shock
0:36 When you were younger and you wanted a toy and your mom finally said ''alright go get it''
2face
Lol so true
2face Now I have a feeling a lot of people are gonna make the comparison of this and the Skeletor meme. Pretty much identical with how they run away.
So true
Oml you get my laughing at your comment every time I see it
Me when i was kid Lol 😂
Doctor: You have 17 minutes to live
Me:
Scott Ford might as well die laughing am I right?
"As my plastic surgeon always said: if you gotta go, go with a smile!"
That would literally make me laugh so hard. Whether he was serious about it or not. I would genuinely laugh so hard I'd die.
And then there's the whammy that said "doctor" is actually the freakin' Joker himself.
What about the time to find the video?
12:27 That disparaging "I just might not make it out of this one alive this time" laugh always gets me.
"PUDDIN'!"
"At this point, he probably is."
16:32 Best Laugh Ever.
AGREED.
8:25 this is the best for me
12:27 this is the best for me
it’s a great laugh but the animation for it is really strange
14:32 is the best one for me.
Mark Hamill invented the Joker laugh. Invented it and then perfected it. No one will ever do it better.
Accept John DiMaggio. His laugh is just...something else....
@@Vilgax00Johnny's Joker laugh is pretty good too
@@scorpion40k Johnny? You mean Johny Bravo?
(ı am not making this up,he did play Joker in Batman brave and the bold)

Definitely 1 of the tops lol
I agree. I was scared sh*tless watching that episode as a kid.
@@theonionsystem7779 That scene nearly traumatized me, so terrifying. 😨
One of the reasons why I was terrified of The Joker when I was a kid.
"You're really sick, yah know that boss..."
Nick Lanni hahahahaha!
9:46 is my favorite, just the way the scene was put together seeing a huge fire, jokers laugh and the music were incredible! Cause it shows how even when the jokers plans go up in smoke he still finds some sick humor to it
That's my favorite laugh and its the joker to a T
Imagine beating your nemesis and they laugh like this. Is it even a win? Great joker laugh 🔥
That shit fucking haunted me when I was a kid.
8:24-8:33 = The darkest most delectable one ever.
The Most Nightmarish Laugh Ever!
Makes you want to laugh, doesn't it?
@@robertgrays8790 *does joker laugh*
Shades of Vincent Price.
I swear Mark Hamill is the only Joker actor to that legit makes me laugh on occasion. Especially the DCAU where Mark's voice was younger was so full of energy. He's still incredible in the Arkham series but you can hear especially in Arkham Knight how older he got. He can't hit those high note laughs anymore. Still iconic regardless.
Yeah..sadly agreed on the Knight bit. It fits the narrative but damn I miss hearing these kind of laughs from Mark.
Arkham Asylum has the right balance to me of range and pitch.
It still fits. Both AC and AK used an aging Hamill's voice to perfection.
I agree. His voice worked really well as an aged Joker in the Arkham series, but then it sounds really weird in things like the LEGO games. Granted, he always does a great job, but it does seem a little off
Best laughs:
9:45 - 9:57
12:27 - 12:36
16:33 - 16:42
And 8:25
great laugh suggestions!
He laugh at the explosions.
4:01 yeaAAAAHAHAH
4:01 - 4:11
No wonder batman never smiles. Jokers laugh is like a scar that hounds batman as a reminder of the bad day he was part of.
Ricardo Santos really?

I would laugh if it wasn't so pathetic
Ah what the hell I'll laugh any way hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Actually, he said "It'd be funny if it weren't so pathetic. Ah what the heck, I'll laugh anyway. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Nightmare Fuel Hands down one of his GREATEST lines/laughs ever and one of the greatest lines in the entire DCAU. I mean, my God, what an asshole lol
I laughed so hard seeing that

I'm surprise Mark Hamil hasn't gone insane over these years playing the Joker
Unless The Joker lives deep within his subconscious like in Arkham Knight lol

Facts
The censorship on the original batman animated series where the joker was toned down honestly gave him great character development. I like how in the DCAU the Joker goes from being an evil yet mostly mischievous clown to a mass murderer who killed thousands in batman beyond. The mask of the phantasm is when the joker truly became an irredeemable monster when he started killing people.
5:53 WTF KINDA NOISE WAS THAT? That was way too adorable of a noise to be coming out of him!

Can we all admire the fact the creators turned simple stereotypical villain laughter into an iconic trademark of this crazy person? Like that's some dedicated shit they pulled off. They turned something so simple and ordinary into something that that will 99% remind someone of the Joker just by hearing normal laughter. Like dang, that does put a smile on my face.
14:54
I dunno why, I just like this one particular laugh
YES. In context it’s just full of pure hatred for the new batman with his classic insanity sprinkled in.
Mark Hamill > Heath Ledger
Don't kill me, please!
Jeff Numbers Just let Ledger handle the physical acting, and leave the voice to good ole Hamill
Different aspects to the Joker. Got animated, comic and on the movie screen. Animated means voice over which Mark Hamill is great with the voice of the Joker. Big screen debate between Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger, i my opinion Heath is better. Ilike the Joker's look in the graphic novel of the Killing Joker.
Ledger sucks. I dont want a cringy emo Joker.
Mark Hamill=Heath Ledger
In my (and most people’s) opinion
Mark Hamill voice
Heath Ledger acting
4:26 killed me🤣😂😭
10:48 was like he as a kid getting away with stealing candy 😂
I love it
The thing that sets Hamill's Joker apart is the fact that through laughing different ways, he could convey every emotion possible. From smug satisfaction, to disappointment, to plotting mischief to boredom to sheer madness!
9:45 Best laugh!
I think this one is my favorite partially due to the look on his face right before the laugh. It's like he's had an epiphany; The Cosmic Joke's punchline has finally been revealed to him.
16:32 THAT needs to be my ringtone. Shivers down my spine every. Single. Time.
I'd say 8:25
12:27 the death
16:33 the reanimation
14:09 the return
3:02 I love that he does the Goofy scream
14:19 Will always be my favorite, It just yells "I'm back"
14:27 is fucking creepy but awesome
"hello Gotham. Joker's back in town!"
Just like Mark Hamill said, Joker has a laugh for every occasion.
When he's plotting his next big thing. When he's facing off with Batman. When he's skipping away from a bank exploding in the background. And yet, he laughs when he's nervous. He laughs when he realizes he's not winning anymore and the joke's not funny! He's *laughing* and *laughing* but they're all different in some different way, some obvious and so subtle it could take you ages to find out what it could mean. (Then again, we can't ever truly know, because we aren't his character. I hope you get what I mean.)
The way Mark filtered so many words through a simple noise is talent in and of itself. The fact that he can manipulate said laugh in such profound ways will *always* astound me.
The way you can tell the difference between the insane cackling and the genuine chuckle of laugher. The way you can *clearly* tell what he's thinking in certain situations will always be so *awesome.* He is and always will be a true legend not only in DC history, but the acting industry forever.
6:26 is mark Hamill best joker laugh 👍
Mark Hamill has to have the best maniacal laughter in the history of ever. Even without context, you can tell when it's super ominous, dark, truly evil and twisted. Other times, you can tell it's just because he's a lunatic, or if he's laughing at something that actually IS funny. Examples of all of these are: 8:24, 8:51, and 7:05. Also at 16:32 is kind of a combination of all these which makes this laugh super bone-chilling. Amazing top-notch performance my Mr. Hamill. He is a legend.
That's what makes him spectacular
4:01 me when I’m home alone
😂😂😂😂
Honey are you busy?
Me: no mom, im just watching a psychopathic clown laughing for 16 minutes and 57 seconds straight
Wow. Today is the 25th anniversary of Joker's Favor, which is the first _aired_ (not first produced) episode to feature the Joker.
You're absolutely right! Exactly 25 years ago today. I guess time flies when you're having insane, homicidal fun!
@Fat Penguin christmas with the joker
TheGrayMysterious the first episode that aired and brought us Harley Quinn!
16:33 was the greatest laugh. It sent a chill up my spine when I heard it and it gave me a genuine fear of clowns
6:25 is still my favourite for sheer creepy, contagious, vicious and nasty all merged into one.
This is why I prefer this version of the character known as The Joker over the other incarnations. I just love how they manage to balance between goofiness and darker more sinister themes at the same time. I think it's just the gritty atmosphere mixed with light-heartedness and drama. This why this Joker is my favorite. Always my favorite. Especially at around 1:51.
I agree with you 💯
Sept. 11th, 9 years later:
Joker: "Charlie boy! Remember that little favor I asked of you?"
MY JAW DROPPED
3:06-3:13 Those little chuckles are the best.
The thumbnail should be called: Star Wars episode IX: The Council Of The Jokers
6:24 this must be the creepiest most horrifying laugh ive ever heared but yet satisfying.
In an alternate universe, Luke went insane after learning Vader was his real father
9:48 Me and my friends before when they announce that there is no school.
Nah that's me and my friends bein the reason that there wasn't school (we deadass stole a hairdryer)
So many kinds of laughs, which is exactly what the joker needs.
Is it wrong to laugh with him?
Nope XD
Not at all
nah mate
Nope. Love that Joker. Best comic villain ever.
UltimateOmegaRed Maybe, but I’m doing it anyway
12:55 best laugh
Joker's laugh is so contagious. Even I. Laughing as I'm watching this.
All of them are great
16:32 there it is his best laugh pre Arkham Series in my opinion, Mask of the Phantasm is legendary too but the slow build into the absolutely insane cackle in Justice League topped it, for me anyway
Which Mark Hamill Joker laugh is YOUR favorite?
Why all of them joker we all know what happen when people tell you thay dont like something about you stab stab stab hahahahahaha hahahahahaha heehee hahahahahaha heehee hahahahahaha but if i had to pick just one it would it would " make you want to laugh dous it not you know which one hahahahahaha

Mask of The Phantasm ending. But I love them all.
My favorite would be Batman beyond joker
16:32. Probably my favorite Joker Laugh of all time. Good job creating this vid. As Jack Nicholson's Joker said
"It brings a smile to my face"
Seeing him walk like that and laugh every scene XD LMAO! HAHAH, HAHHAHAHAHHAH, HEHEHEHAHAHHAHA XD it makes me laugh too. Like that face and when he's laughing about his own jokes! Hamill
It only gets funnier the more you watch it XDDD batman be like: fuck.....
The Joker = Luca Blight
Joker is a guy who loves his job.
13:17 got me laughing!! I'll be he used real laughing gas at the dentist office before attempting to kill Jim Gordon! LOL
All this laughter might be driving me a tad bit insane. I wont know until after the video.
Such a cheerful guy.
As every episode passes, Mark Hamill's Joker laughter gets better and better
I think I'm going insane from watching this😂😂😂
I love the ones where it starts off low before raising in pitch a little before he lets it all out in a fit of insane laughter.
Hearing him laugh is like music to my ears
You can never get tired of listening to Mark’s Joker laugh
I love his laugh 😃❤
similar to Ed's laugh from the lion king
Imagine being in the street and someone laughs like that
I love Joker as much as I love his laughs.

Can’t get enough of Mark Hamills Joker, it’s the best out there!!!!
I love Mark Hamill's Joker voice and laugh, it really is memorable ! Crazy and disturbing, and still makes you laugh with him :D
14:39 The last laugh before his demise
Can we just appreciate how much better the Joker’s design looked in the Animated Series vs The New Batman Adventures? TNBA version looks like a goddamn MAD magazine character.
Agreed. All of the designs in TNBA feel inferior to the BTAS ones.
His laugh is so infectious I love it.
12:28 I love this laugh so much
It feels like Hammil very love and enjoy his work (voicing Joker) so well.
9:46-9:58 my all time favorite laugh of his
The more insane the laugh is the better it is. In my perspective anyway. 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆👍
Mark Hamill was one hell of a Joker.
Hard to believe there was only one small chuckle in the Justice League: Wild Cards arc. Joker had more dialogue than anyone in those episodes.
The part and joker wild like it when he shakes his head up and down while he's juggling during that helicopter scene.
I always find his giggles easier to do then some of his other laughs
But I just gotta practice right
3:03 - 3:05 That sounded more like Mark Hamill's version of a Goofy Scream instead of an actual Joker laugh. Am I the only one who notices this?
Nope, that is absolutely a Goofy Holler done as a Joker laugh.
alternative title, 17 minutes of Mark Hammil clearly having the time of his life in this role.
Mark Hamill had too much fun doing this
14:31 Screams: “Come and get me, I know I’ve already won!”
0:50 After Joaquin Phoenix
4:03 that running
Yknow I see it now but it never clicked for me before that his laugh when he assaults Bruce in the batcave in Batman Beyond is a Phantasm reference. Same angle and everything.
14:32 this laugh legit made me shiver and gets me chills
The end of Injustice for All is my favorite laugh of his. Gives me chills EVERY time!
Mark Hamill's laugh is just so memorable and charming. Its like a musical track you just can't forget about because it becomes part of your mind, heart, and soul. It sticks with you for life.
9:46 personally the best. Not the most sinister, not the most deranged, but the one that perfectly sums up who he is on the inside. No man, no beast, just Joker.
1:01 pants up to his armpits lol
13:02 The occasional nervous laugh (Oh crap) gets me.
