1. No. This primarily affects some strains of honey bee. Wild honey bees and other species of bee are able to deal with varroa mites and other diseases.
2. Very few crops are exclusively populated by domesticated honey bees. There's a lot of fearporn out there about the entire ecosphere collapsing due to bees dying out but it's not realistic.

It is a painful discovery that everything that is of a help to the world population and it inhabitants like bees is still at large supplied to every corner of the world except Africa, when many poisonous things are first tested in this continent. And I find it absurd that many advert like yours will mention that the product is all over the world like international when it excludes Africa. The worst discrimination is when you show the world map and you point out the center of origin and the places you have covered includes South America and miraculous it jumped Africa and land in Australia. The the worst thing for the Honey Bee is this product kills more bees than varroa most beekeepers say the same thing.
It depends how you use them
Plus, even if it works it helps bees with vulnerable genetics to survive and produce more colonies, potentially crowding out bees with natural resistance.
