The instructor from my Trucking Class told us when he was Trucking he had to deliver to them a lot and they wanted him to leave right after they were done unloading. He wasn't allowed to go inside and shop so he wouldn't help them with the unloading even if they asked😂😂😂
A lot of places are like that. They kick you out soon as you're loaded/unloaded.
Doesn't even matter if you're out of hours.
@Ceejay I think I was delivering in Tennessee and there was a area where most of the walmarts allowed semi's to park overnight. But that was last year, I don't drive semi's anymore so I don't know if switched up on truckers.
I wouldn't have helped them to unload either. I can't shop while i'm at least being unloaded bringing you YOUR STUFF, THEN YOU UNLOAD YOUR STUFF!! And hurry up before my e-logs clock gets too DAMN LOW TOO!!

I've had big 45 ft 50000 lb rvs at buccees with no issue, the owner straight up hates truckers

Bucees uses SYSCO, GSC, frito lay, Bimbo, Coca-Cola, etc. These are top retail/restaurant delivery servicers. Do you really think they will miss out on their money bc their employee is crying about spending $100 there?
Here's a solution to what you find to be a problem: get in your four wheeler and do not shop there

3 yrs ago I bought a used truck. Stopped at this location cause my truck overheated. I was greeted aggressively by security then they called the police on me. Thankfully the police told security to let me use the water then I would be on my way. I will never stop at any buc-ee's
Buc-ees don’t play about trucks on their property. I like their beef brisket, I stop there sometimes when I’m bobtailing and they meet me at the door to inform that semi trucks aren’t allowed, but I’ve never been kicked out. I just inform them that I’m just stopping for a quick bite and they would not bother me. But this is Georgia and Florida, I guess it just depends on the people working. Some folks are just nicer than others. It’s a shame they were treated that poorly.

This was one of the first things my trainer told me: Never take the truck to a Buc ee's. However, that RV situation doesn't show good integrity from them. Anywho, don't waste your time or money while you're a trucker with their business. No need for the drama and spend your money elsewhere

Seems to me like they will be putting up signs stating (Going Out Of Business) as they should NOT be getting any more delivery's ? Anyone that makes ANY delivery's to them needs to be an out cast themselves ! Any driver that is told to deliver to them needs to refuse . There is more than enough work out there so if it comes down to being fired you would have a job with in an hour. If you are not good enough to be able to park there then you are not good enough to deliver there.

Whatever their reasons, it would be nice to see them have to depend on "Other" means of distribution to get their shelves stocked and fuel pumped. I could understand no overnight parking as lots of other businesses don't allow. But saying they don't want our business brings it to a whole new level. So, if i was with my family in my personal vehicle and they found that im a driver, would they still escort me out? Smh
They rely on four wheelers to haul the junk off so why not have to rely on them to bring it in…
You need to get some sense about yourself - it is not about one the person, it is about the truck itself and I, for one do not hold it against them. Allow one, than all will come. But what they have failed to give thought to is that four wheelers and those rv's also throw trash 🗑️ out. Perhaps not you, not the couple that is mentioned and certainly not me, but slimeballs and the swine in this industry are the cause of the way that this industry is looked at: pissed bottles, garbage 🗑️, torned up landscaping, etc - very reasons others including shippers/ receivers will not allow drivers to remain on their property nor allow them to even use the restrooms. One bad apple and the entire cart is bad.
Every single buc-ees has signs everywhere. No semi's. They probably don't want truckers because how they leave trash, pee bottles, waste bags.

If you ever wonder why they don't want you there stop at any truck stop garbage all over the place gallon jugs of piss the asphalt smell of piss. Drivers standing on their steps peeing on the ground. And let's not forget the #1 reason we run into very vehicle in the lot

there are signs every ware no trucks there is one in Ga on 75 right across from a truck stop you can walk over to it. We used to be welcome but not anymore because some drivers have messed it up for everyone. else even Walmart will not let us park there any more' don't get mad at the stores get mad at the drivers who messed it for all of us.

So. We are now angry because we cannot get a pass to the damn Buccees? If your over 45 maybe 40? You surely remember having to show a commercial license to get in a "trucker's lounge" in ANY truck stop. If you were a female you sometimes had to show a commercial license AND your keys. Ive had to point to my damn truck to take a shower. So let's step off a bit before we roast Buccees, we started this mess.
I would also like to point out most truck stops that are close to Buccees are not full of 4 wheelers trying to figure out why the diesel comes out so fast on the truck fuel island. They aren't standing their children on your fender cause all the lights are pretty. You are not catching a charge because they didnt know livestock can relieve themselves at different angles.

@Ceejay Truck drivers, like all individuals, deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. While it is true that some individuals may not have the best manners or may not be respectful of private property, it is unfair to paint all truck drivers with the same brush.
It’s so many nasty trashy drivers out there I’m a driver and I wouldn’t allow drivers at my establishment. Look how drivers leave restrooms, parking lots, trucking yards, etc. urinating in bottle and defecating in bags. Truckers want even bath and it’s no excuse 50 gallons of fuel FREE shower.
I figured that out when I tried to go, and I saw ALL THE SIGNS saying NO TRUCKS..
There was a truck stop in tennesse that had a buc-ees next door I know now I won’t be walking across the street to shop there any more - besides that the items and food is outrageously overpriced anyhow
Bucees pays their carwash supervisor over $100,000.00 per year.......others get paid good,too. That's one reason for the high price

Every parking lot has a sign. I understand that there were larger vehicles in the parking lot, but it's not just about that. This is a family stop. I'm a trucker, but I'm not taking my children to pilot or flying js.
Twenty years ago you could have gone to any place you wanted to because we looked like we were proud of what we did and dressed like we were professionals people talked to us like they really cared when the mega carriers started hiring anyone who could hold a steering wheel it all changed that is why after 38 years on the road last year I sold my truck and retired these idots can have it no loyalty and no respect

If a Buc-ee's security person sees you walk in from Love's they will stop you at the door and ask you to leave the property.
If they notice you in the store, they will ask you to leave and refuse purchase of your selected items.
They consider their supply and fuel trucks as a necessary evil for doing business, but even those drivers are mostly refused service inside the store.
My Missus and I refuse to cast a shadow on their property, even on our motorcycles!
We are both drivers, local jobs with two different employers.

This is a perfect opportunity for a new Truck Stop chain that doesn’t allow cars or piss on the grounds. A super clean and friendly environment with a ton of dope ish. Don’t make it feel like a truck stop, tight security that cares about the truck stop ground not smelling like piss. Showers that won’t give you flesh eating bacteria. Employees that aren’t itching for another break to smoke meth… This could happen, but it won’t. We’re going to have to wait until we get in our cars to visit the beaver, we can’t even come together to strike for our rights.

Same thing happened to me about a month ago so I went and parked at the loves across the highway and walked for my 30. I was pissed at my company at the time and it legit made me consider quitting trucking glad I didn't because I'm happier on the road than living in that crabs in a bucket type of state that has buccees.

It's like when I rode and raced dirt bikes, a relative few ruin it for the majority. Most often, the ones people really notice, are the ones causing problems. They assume they're ALL like that. So they don't want them around. Rest stops are bad enough. Families stop there, obviously noticing the yellow mystery bottles laying around. I carry disposable gloves to dispose of them properly.

The you were automatically guilty because you knew the dog was dangerous. The trespassr had to pass signs too. I know that's not the same. I just shared because you mentioned signs and I don't like GA🤣🤣. But, it's their business, their rights and they should be allowed to make that decision. I just don't agree with it.
