Great video Scott,i use the So simple conditioner,it's oderless and no chemicals in it , brilliant stuff, Jamie Hughes done a video it,
Liked the comparisons of the 4 connection methods. A note of caution when using hair conditioner. Be careful if your pole has a bung as they can accumulate clag. I had a look at a bottle of conditioner and around the orifice that can get clogged up. My wife’s bottle orifice is well crudded.
Nice one Peter 😂😂😂
Good honest video Scott, well done 👍
Cheers John
Hi you could use the small Stotfold connectors for quick change hooks links when using method type feeders
I've been using simple conditioner and water in a 50 /50 mix and wasn't that impressed so you say50 ml to 200ml of water cheers for that I will try again
It's hard to explain the consistency really but it'll feel slightly oily on your fingers and not too heavy if that makes sense??
@@Scottsoutdoorchannel yes it does cheers
50:50 is way too much conditioner, I’m looking at a ratio of about 1 part conditioner to 5 parts water. Makes it very cheap. Simple conditioner has no scent and no damaging chemicals.
It's called Simple conditioner the one Jamie Hughes uses🎣🎣🎣
Hi, can you use 4mm hard banded pellet for roach and skimmers on the pole in winter on natural waters.
Personally I wouldn't but i know some venues get fished with pellets all year round and they catch everything using them.....
I've already Emailed Angling Direct, expressing my dissatisfaction, however I feel there is no harm in putting my feelings out there for others!! It's not that I can't afford a Fiver, I just detest having the Piss taken!!!
Great video thanks, still don't get the bead thing lol anything visual you can show on facebook?
Yes, something will be on tonight
Hi Scott
Why don't you pour it up from the bottom where you can easily fit the nozzle of the bottle?
I pour it down the take apart section of the top kits so all the elastic is coated not through the tip end....
Top Video 5 STAR Thanks for making it.
No problem Gary, glad you liked it
Been using hair conditioner for about 20 years 😜👍
So Simple hair Conditioner is the one
Yes it is, mind went totally blank lol but all do same job
but is there any effect on the fish if everyone starts putting hair conditioner in the lakes, I bought a can of silicone spray because one of our top fishermen recommended it in his youtube, but the side of the can I got had a big warning on the side saying harmful to aquatic plants and animals, so that has been shelved
Good question, the one to use is from the "simple" range as it all natural products plus it's diluted and I don't think I've ever had any actually drip into the lake but it is a good point..
I use it 1 part conditioner to 5 parts water so it’s very diluted. What could go into the lake is so minute it wouldn’t have any effect.
Simple hair conditioner from home bargains a pond a bottle none smelly
Yeah, works the same and cheap as chips
@@Scottsoutdoorchannel i have been doing this fr many years as i hate paying for crap and on the elastic his elastics are great i use knd hollows for the last 4 years its never let me down very strchey and got a real back bone too ie you can pull back with it
Are we being environmentally friendly to the water that we are fishing in here?
Simple hair conditioner has no chemicals in it like you would find in a normal ptfe lube and this is only coating the elastic it's not pouring into the water from your top kit...
Does it rot the elastic tho?
I've not had a problem and it's diluted so much I don't think it would ever be an issue. Good question though
@@Scottsoutdoorchannel thanks mate, what ratio do u do to water, and have u had any issues with it clogging the pole
Fantastic idea. I believe every thing apart from the conditioner not being yours. Hmmm
Shhhh don't be telling everyone lol
Angling Direct, among others have put the smaller tackle shops out of business.
Go into Angling Direct in Hunslet & It's like going into B&Q - Staff are not very knowledgeable & really quite Lazy & disrespectful!! - I've socks older than them!!
Just don't get any on Yr bait ur using
Yeah, always do it well away from your bait
