Congratulations. One of my best friends has struggles with infertility as well. She just messaged on the group chat today that she was pregnant as well and is 12 weeks. I am now crying all over again. The race is now for both babies 👶🏼👶🏼xx

After a ten week miscarriage with my IVF baby, I didn’t “announce” my next pregnancy until almost 16 weeks. I just didn’t want to get my hopes up. A few people knew other than my husband (my mom, dad and sister and best friend). But even once I hit that “safe” window, I wanted to keep it to ourselves and just enjoy it.

@@katiesmith3242 same! I didn’t post anything about being pregnant or even having my baby until he was 2 months 😂 so if you weren’t in my daily life or really close family/friend, I all of a sudden had a baby with no announcement of anything
I did something similar after an IVF loss. We didn't tell anyone they we were doing another cycle and waited until after the anatomy scan to tell our parents. It was just too hard sharing bad news each cycle
i lost my first born at 7 mths. so for my rainbow baby, i only inform my parents at 8 mths. and the rest of my family, sisters and cousins after i gave birth. so i absolutely understand if ppl dont want to inform about their pregnancy to anyone even.

I’m so happy for you. The struggle of infertility is so real and traumatizing. I didn’t announce publicly until 20 weeks. I’m currently almost 29 weeks and I’m still paranoid. I don’t think this feeling will go away until I have a healthy baby in my arms. 💕
