Hi .Thank you very much for information. However, I want to ask you something other than this. Let say, different formats of date is included in a one coloumn in a large data sheet, what would we do to arrange it properly. For example first 20 rows as DMY order and then YMD.

Hi PK. Love your videos. I am looking for a way to auto populate a calendar when my team updates their appointment in another sheet. My sheet consists of the following data - 1. Customer name 2. Sales status (Each Status has a color code) and next appointment date. When they change a date against a customer, is it possible to auto populate their calendar in that date with the customer name (color coded in the same color as the status)?

Apply this formula to your series of numbers
=Text(A1,"##-##-####")
Here A1 is cell number
Now your series of numbers will be converted into 12/05/18
Now copy that cell and paste some where else as paste special 'values'
Then follow above video method

I don't think anything like this possible. U can do 1 thing though use if then to assign 1 to jan 2 to feb ........ And when no are there use text to column for separating and changing to dates. U can check

If figures r consistent it is possible I mean 2 digits each for day and months and 4 for years. Extract by text to column and opt width instead of delimited and mark the partition accordingly.

2-April-2020 is already an excel date format. It will work when your date format is a text according to excel. for example - 02.04.2020 or 02042020
