Hey Kathy. You are very Welcome and thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Much appreciated. We wish you a lot of fun , experimenting and many delicious meals with this hot air fryer.

I bought the first Phillips air fryers when they first came out several years ago and they were so pricey..nice to see your quarantine time will bring you amazing food! Leave it to Mike to know the technology behind the machine as he is the techno one of the house. My guess is this will be an air frying weekend with pizza and burgers and fries and maybe a cake!!! Sweet potato chips are great to make too Enjoy guys loved your excitement over your new gadget and its accessories. Side note it was cute how Queen Luna was wanting ALL your attention upon arising. Mike giving her love was sweet how she settled down so quickly. Love to you both
Hey Sara. Thank god here in Holland it's not too bad the price since Phillips is a Dutch brand helps maybe also. Haha yeah we tried some stuff and honestly, it's always better then cooking or frying in oil . Yeah Queen Luna is really bonded from day 1 with mike and Bagheera was my buddy. We miss him every second. Thank you for always supporting our channel sweets. Thank you!!
@@DisDutch I know Bagheera's loss is still so deep. However you will carry his beautiful spirit with you forever Hous..you could tell Luna loves her some Mike. Did not know Phillips was a Dutch brand..thats cool. Enjoy playing with your new gadget.
I considered this one a long time. Thank You for your video. I opted for the ninja foodie and it does an excellent job on every piece of meat, or french fry, egg roll, everything!!!! ❤️ I recommend it as well. Yes it came with a super nice book and I took it down to Staples and had them cut the binding off and make it a spiral and put a plastic cover on the book so I could lay it flat and make things. Until I learned how to use it. It makes beautiful Chicken, legs wings or roast the whole chicken. I got the 6 1/2 quart. It it make beautiful steak 🥩 Roast, hamburgers, Pork chops are amazing. Really, it’s fantastic! 😊 and I got the basic one with just the push push buttons. 😊 so I’ve seen a lot of reviews on both and it’s a pressure cooker, air fryer and it cooks rice, and it cooks a slow cooks, one pot spaghetti. 😊 so it replaces your crockpot your rice cooker your air fryer and your pressure cooker, one piece the ninja foodie! Comes with a ceramic bowl I did order the glass lid and the stainless steel bowl so I have both kinds when I’m air frying I use the ceramic because easy clean. For pressure cooking sometimes I use the ceramic but if I’m making spaghetti, beans or stews, I get out the stainless steel insert and cook in my stainless steel pot. The 6 1/2 quart size was really a great size for me. I certainly cleaned out my kitchen. Mine comes with two lids, one for pressure cooking and the Seal never has odors! I gave away my other stuff. I loved that. So I have my Ninja Foodie my Breville sous chef Peel and dice. Kept my KitchenAid stand mixer which I do use my Kuvings juicer and my Blendtec blender. I wanted to mention it. We all love our Kitchen Equipment to be safe and functional! Thank You for your videos. Because I really like 👍 your explanations and the time you take to explain is extremely helpful!
That's a very nice airfryer and accessories. I used mine alot for burgers, fries, biscuits, breads, etc.. I would love a larger one like yours. I'm going to ask one from my hubby for this Christmas. I planted sweet potatoes (yams) in spring. I'm going to make my own chips. I sliced the potatoes very thin and use lightly oil spray. I missed the dutch fries when I was AMS and the sauces.😋
I love potatoes from the backyard. Mom does it too and they always taste so good. Yeah. It's almost Christmas! Before we know it! Yeah we are super excited about making our own homemade (hopefully more healthier ) chips . We ll vlog it if we try it. Thank you as always for watching and commenting. Hugs
I have a Philips XXL air fryer. The guide says to cook beef at 400, but when I do it smokes like crazy. I've tried putting a little water in the bottom, but it just makes everything take longer to cook and I worry about the water affecting the heating element. So, I decided that lowering the temperature to 325 accomplishes the same objective and I don't have to worry about water damaging the heating element. Using the $50 grill plate, it takes almost 2 mins longer to cook a ribeye steak, and it seems to cook more evenly. I still get the sear that I'm looking for because of the grill plate and the center of the steak looks perfect. If you're going to be cooking steaks in your Philips air fryer, the grill plate accessory is a must have.
hey Ray. thank you for sharing with us all your experience. yeah I did my first ribeye steak and it was good. Now I must admit, I do like the steak from the skillet.
Thanks for shedding some light on the accessories for Philips XXL Airfryer. It confused me too with the actual model HD9867/90 not showing up on the accessory box while it said to be for XXL air fryer.
Hi...poor Luna ahhh...I live in Europe and my Philips XXL ADVANCE air fryer just died today...The cremation comes soon. All the accessories that you bought today I have also and they are great. It's good to hear that everything is interchangeable. I plan to keep the pull out unit from my old fryer and use it in the new machine but only when cooking things that splash. I keep the new basket for baking or baking fresh ready to bake buns. I have never had fries yet so that will be my first experiment. Potato rounds (rosti) from Aviko are great in the fryer...chicken wings and legs are also great...I am happy with an air-fryer. I miss mine already and it just died this morning...Good luck with your new toy...
Aaww sorry! Hopefully you will be able to find a good deal again soon! This video wasn't recent. This was more then a year ago. Still enjoying our hot air fryer a lot yes. Thank you
You sounded very passionate about your new purchase, least concerned about getting subscribers. Sounds good. Honest opinions no doubt. I definitely want to go for this model. Comes with all accessories.Looks good. I still did not make a purchase as yet. Hope I get it at Amazon.
WOW you have a lovely kitty. I am also a cat fan, I also have Premium Airfryer XXL HD9867 / 90, huehue. My kitty gets jealous too when I talk on the phone or someone she doesn't know, HEHE. best regards
Gday from Adelaide Australia from de Vries family just bought xxl smart sensor from myer love it already not cheap at 599 AUD but got discount from CBA points through my credit card.Upgraded from philips 2012 model
Receiving ours today from Amazon..great discounted price. 125eu for the regular XXL. Unlike your newest smart sensing model. Yet I did receive the pizza master kit already as it was the best accessorie to get for 35eu. The baking tray I didn't get, honestly found it quite expensive for a simple metal baking tray and 6 silicon cupcake forms for 30eu. I assume any baking tray that fits the outer frying Pan and can rest on the pizza tray or in the original basket, will do😅.. and it just happens stuff in Xenos or action shops are like 5eu for a similar baking pan. I do like the grill pan accessory for steaks etc.. that said a steak goes equally as easy on regular basket. Although grilling chicken and meats do seem to make it a bit harder to clean up. Hopefully the grilling layer helps that
Yay!! Congratulations !!! Honestly, if you can find the same accessories for cheaper then yea please go for that. Mike loves to get stuff from a same brand but I d be probably more like you and keep it practical and cheap when possible. Only thing is that cheap metal accessories can sometimes rust faster. Enjoy it and we hope you enjoy our hot air fryer recipes! Hugs
@@DisDutch yeah I get it.. something cheap can become a repurchase..yet a 30euro baking pan.. already baked banana bread, blondies etc in our existing good quality cakeform and it turned out great, yet slightly small in size. The pizza kit is amazing though!! Just smart to finally fit a regular deep frozen pizza in this magical device. 6min and ping!! Considering a 24cm pizza mesh/perforated tray for working with homemade dough.
I was late to the game but didn't know how much I needed an air fryer until I actually had one and used it ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . Wow, this has helped me so much. I am cooking for just myself and got tired of cleaning the big oven. I am more motivated to cook a healthy meal now because this makes it so fast and easy. I have made panko-crusted chicken breast, baked potatoes, fish, turkey burgers, meatloaf, french fries (of course), and roasted veggies. If you have oven-safe baking dishes that fit inside this, the options are pretty much limitless. I am looking forward to making a homemade pot pie when the weather gets cold. I am amazed at how fast this cooks. I would order this same exact air fryer again. It has been easy to clean and keep up. I am actually surprised at how much I like it.
I’m just wondering if you’ve tried to dehydrate fruits and make beef jerkies with it? Tough decision to make. My best options are this, ninja, and Cosori. The last 2 has dehydrate function.
The cupcakes don’t have to be in the cake bin, just put them straight into the basket. Use your snack maker to successfully make popcorn; it is beautiful. Just put the kernels straight in the basket (about 2 tablespoons), then set the temperature at 200, timer for 10min. It starts popping after 3min. When you can’t hear anymore popping, it’s ready so stop the machine. Season and butter as you wish! Enjoy! 🍿❣️❣️
yeah we did make them and they turned delicious. the popcorn though, I am afraid it will be dry like what happens with the popcorn without the oil makers. no?
DisDutch Melt some butter and stir it in the cooked popcorn with a little salt or sugar (in my case xylitol as I cannot have sugars) and cinnamon. Be generous with the butter! 😉😁
Can you please give an update? I'm considering purchasing. Still, the parts would rust in the dish machine? How is the timer working with this one? Any weird quarks?
Honestly, the smart sensing I almost never use! Every piece of meat or vegetable differs a bit so I just check every now n then with my own eyes. And there are many tables that give you a approximate time for many stuff you prepare together with your own eyes is the best
