Awesome! Thanks so much for watching. We're so glad you've been enjoying our content. Still a lot more to come.
great info at the beginning and Awesome drive thru the big trees thanks for taking us, we have some here but been awhile since we have gone up there with the Really big trees// sad though that you can wander a little ways into the forest and see how small the ancient groves are
Sorry for the delayed response. We're running a little behind this year. So glad you enjoyed the video. Last year was our first time visiting the redwoods and definitely agree with you. I seemed that most of the largest most impressive groves were little more than islands in a sea of secondary growth.
We were filled with frustration for what has been lost, but also grateful for what remains. There is so much to learn not only about nature from these trees, but about human nature as well.
@@HomeInWildSpaces glad people like you are helping spread the word about preservation, someday hopefully there will be more than these small islands of Giants
There are more then enough trees in Humboldt county, I know, I lived there most of my life.
If I was going to ride part of this on a bike would the most shade and oldest trees be between Burlington campground and the town of Miranda?
Is this on the 101?
It's actually byway 254 which runs generally parallel to 101, intersecting 101 now and again.
