I got the LE Sweet Fig and I don’t taste that BUT I’ve heard other people complain about the bad taste and smell, too. I smell and taste nothing. Maybe a tiny bit of vanilla if I HAD to pick a scent. I’ve seen other like me who also say it doesn’t smell or taste weird. Since there is such a divide on this, I truly wonder if it’s some ingredient some people taste/smell differently like with the herb cilantro. Cilantro tastes soapy to me. I hate it. People with variations of a specific receptor gene on chromosome 11 are more likely to perceive the soapy aldehydes in cilantro. Other people don’t at all and it’s just lemony/peppery. I honestly wonder if something like this is going on!!
Interesting theory. I’m one of those cilantro people. It ruins every dish for me. Same with rosemary. 🤔
My face expressions went like "😶🤨🥴" when you tasted the bronzing stick.

It seems like there is definitely something off with some shades. I saw now a couple people report this especially with the Sweet Fig shade 🥲
