Yes!! I don't like what Unearthly is doing!! I'll be honest, I bought the Valentine's myself box set but there had been hints as to what was in the set & hints as to what the color story of the palette was. But to charge $80-$90 for a single *palette*, with no hints?? Absolutely not. And I just don't understand why she keeps doing this marketing tactic. I haven't bought anything since that box & I dunno if I will. I'm so turned off by this "mystery" BS. Like, just show us the freaking palette. So stupid. What a bummer about those MBM lipsticks. I wasn't really digging the shades except for maybe one or two but I'm glad i didn't pick up any. That Huda Beauty logo is soooo bad!!! What were they thinking?! You nailed it with the drugstore comparison. That's exactly it. It's too blocky and clunky. Please tell me you didn't pick up the Scamlite powders 😆 Definitely Beauty Bakery vibes. They're coming back, supposedly but it's not exactly the same. That's what I heard, anyway. BTW I'm loving the eye look!! 🩷💙 Edit: For Ellamas, only new palettes you acquired this year. Maybe a ranking of all your new C-beauty eyeshadow palettes?

I’m so curious about the finger print sponge now even though it makes me uncomfortable looking at it 😂 Also if you want to buy from Notoriously Morbid, I just want to share a few things to be aware. Expect everything they sell is pretty much like preorder. Their turnaround time is 20-30 biz days according to their website, but frequently I’ve had orders that took 2-3 months to ship (and I live in the US.) It’s not uncommon that by the time you receive the order, those items are no longer available on the site, although I think they are trying to make the palettes more permanent lately. I do really love their products though (especially their liquid lipsticks. They are one of the best) and their reward point system + good customer service keeps me coming back.

I've been too afraid to try the brand's eyeshadows since I made the unfortunate mistake of buying not one but both of their blush palettes (Juicy Cheeks and Bare Cheeks). The shades are lovely and diverse, but the formula is as patchy as patchy can be. I've tried several different brushes and get the same awful results with all of the shades. Fool me once ... That being said, your eye look is lovely.

I would say a ranking of all the palettes you've tried this year but also palette ranking from each brand (if possible) 😁

I totally agree with you about unearthly. I am fed up of mistery boxes, the limited editions, collections that you have to buy the full 200€ box or pass...... I hate it and its a bummer because it has my fav formulas of both mattes and shimmers in the indie world. Thats why i love Cosmic beauty. Its one of the few brands that dont feel like are teying to push whatever shit to get your cash. BTW....that pink and blue look is STUNNING. What glorious palette did you use? Will we have a tutorial? 😇 And about the palette rankings, the more the better!!! But i dunno if ranking your whole collection would be a pain in the ass for you...

Of course I'd like to see both palette rankings but I know how much work it is so whichever you choose I'll be happy :)

All ND eyeshadows have codes but not all palettes have it listed on her website 🤡 I know, it's lazy. I did some detective work for Mini Rose and all shade names have been previously used but the codes are different (both numeric and letters). For example, both mattes were cream to powder previously, now they will be creamy mattes (CM); the duochrome was formally M-metallic, now it will be DC-duochrome etc. The only shade that will still have the same letter code is Psychedelic, still a crystal (K) but numeric code is different. Three shades are taken/inspired by Midi Retro, the other two come from/inspired by the big 28-pan palettes (one from each). Natasha also confirmed in one of her IG comments that the formulas and textures will be different.

The Glamlite release reminds me strongly of beauty bakery . I am waiting for the westman atelier highlighter because I liked all their products so far ( although they are expensive)

Completely agree about the Huda logo change it’s a downgrade, and I don’t understand it at all! Also agree about the RT spong, I quite literally laughed out loud when I first saw this bc Out of all the reasons fingers might apply makeup well, fingerprints are not anywhere on that list and are in fact a deterrent lmao like I get that they can’t sell us our own fingers, but this is probably the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a long time!

I actually gasped when you showed Sickly Sweet so low. I gasped and then laughed that I felt almost offended for a palette ranking 🤣 Until Longing came along Sickly was at the very top most used palettes this year. Longing just hits different and the shimmers...ugh! To die for

The Longing palette is DEFINITELY Tempting to me! It reminds me of something Sydney Grace would come out with. The only palette I have from BB is "All Done Up." I need to get some more BB palettes! ❤

What a great ranking!! I onlybhave 2 Blend Bunny palettes, Surge and Sugar and Grunge. I love Sugar and Grunge so much! You are so right when u say its a perfect nuetral palette for the color lover and the perfect color palette for the nuetral lover! I do want and plan to add Longing and Machina ( if its still availble). I cant wait to see what the owner brings us next, cuz you are right, it seems like all the colors have been done already.

Holi shit..I didn't expect the Ellis Atlantis to be so high in the ranking!! It's the only one I am missing and I still don't feel the tingle to get it. For the rest, my ranking would be pretty similar.....except machina... machina would be way lower in my ranking. And lure would be up in the top. Plus do more of this vids! Hi Ella, thank you for the ranking! While I absolutely love Blend Bunny, I share your fear that their business model lacks longevity. Since being introduced to Blend Bunny, I’ve found myself decluttering a lot of my other palettes with inferior formulas, but because BBC’s palettes are so large, I’ve found redundancies not only within my own collection but also within BBC’s own line. I’ve held off on purchasing some of their newer releases (and new releases from other brands) because of the repetition which is great for my wallet, but bad for their business. Going forward, I see only three options for the brand: A) Focus on complexion and other non-eyeshadow products to both avoid repetition and keep your current loyal customer base. B) Curate smaller, more niche color stories to appeal to people who either haven’t discovered the brand yet or haven’t purchased yet because they’re intimidated by the size. C) Discontinue palettes in rapid succession when they aren’t as successful as you’d hoped to make room for new palettes (this, unfortunately, seems to be the route the brand has taken). Regardless of what they choose to do moving forward, I truly hope the brand is able to reestablish their identity before their current business model grows stale.

An excellent review, looks and swatch video, tysm Ella! The mattes seem warm and Autumnal, so it's a nice twist to have multichromes that shift peach to gold to a pop of warm green. 🍂🍁🪵☕️

❄️🆒-trals for me! You gave me a 💡moment when you suggested visualising the first two rows of Cooltrals as a dusty rose, neutral side and the bottom two rows as the icy and smoky cool side. This helped me to put Cooltrals as #1 on my Shopping List. Yes, my eye was caught by two or three of the fiery, metallic, shifty shades in Nudetrals, but honestly, ALL those matte warm shades are colours that languish in my existing collection.

Before watching this video I was convinced the Nudetrals would be my favourite out of the two palettes. The looks you produced today totally changed my mind, they were both equally as stunning and I preferred them to the Nudetrals looks, which were very beautiful. However the Cooltrals just had an extra something! ❤

The warm color story of Nudetrals is more up my alley, but this Cooltrals is gorgeous!
