British Uni Students go to Korea University for a day!! ($5 lunch buffet! 🤯)

- Last time Armand and Max were in Korea, they really wanted to use the Seoul subway. So today we leave Armand and Max all on their own to find their way to Korea University! And for the first day of the Korean Englishman internship, Josh shows the guys round all of his favourite places around Korea uni and eat at some of his favourite places!

오늘은 저번 한국 여행때서울 지하철을 타보지 못해 아쉬워했던 아르망과 맥스에게 깜짝 미션을 줬는데요. 바로 고려대 까지 스스로 찾아오기! 영국남자 인턴쉽의 첫 일정으로 조쉬가 처음 한국 생활을 했던 추억이 담긴 곳들과 음식을 소개해줬습니다.
Max's ability to make friends with just about anyone he meets is so amazing. 😅 I love that the elderly man directed them, then corrected them so they have an easier time when they meet other people. So nice.
Gives off major Ollie energy for sure 😂

It's due to his non-threatening and non-creepy look. He looks very innocent. That's something women respond positively to.

Armand was so confident despite knowing nothing about what he was doing and Max just there to support and happily follow along is the cutest friendship I’ve ever seen 😭
I like it how they noticed the small things while using the subway. The smell, the queue, and even managed to compliment the snacks they had on their way even though they were so stressful with the directions less than 2 seconds ago 😂

Is it just me or does Armand dress not only in the same clothes but often in the same colours as Josh? This series is as inspirational as the English School Boys and Twins visits to Korea. It is now on my tourism bucket list for this country and their food. Armand and Max should finish their degrees but start their combined UA-cam channel now. They are being given a golden ticket to lives of fun, adventure and hopefully a good income. I'm gonna say it... The French Englishman.

This is an exciting take on how Korean Englishman has influenced and opened doors to Korea. It makes me excited and want to go to Korea myself. I enjoy watching the students experience new cultures and make their way now on their own. I’m so jealous!! They have all been so cordial and kind in the process. They are excellent mentors.

I study at KU and these days I am feeling burned out from not managing all my schedules well, but yesterday I found this channel and watched the GS25 and KU cheerleaders episodes, I was laughing a lot and had a real boost of serotonin. This morning I woke up and I was in a really good mood, also I managed to wake up early enough to have time for shower and even making myself good breakfast (these days I often oversleep and only have time to put on clothes and run to the lectures). You'd be surprised how easy it really is to befriend people, literally, all it takes is to just start talking to them in a friendly manner. Even if you're really awkward, you can just lean into it and play it for laughs.

Japan's subway is so dificult to navigate. most stations have multiple malls and multiple floors 😅
To be fair trains in Japan is more confusing than Korea 😂😂😂 I always get lost on finding exits in Japan subways
I am very used to riding the subway in Korea, but I'd be way nervous about navigating the trains in Tokyo on my own! 😂 I've heard it's a bit daunting...

You know what blew my mind the most on this episode? The architecture of the University actually looking like in does in Korean comics (Manhwa). I've always assumed that was the artist's stylistic choice but no, that's literally how Korea University looks. That's really cool.

I went there for an exchange for half a year, and now Korean Englishman provide this video, heals my heart so much. Max and Armand are literally me the first time I went to uni by subway (even though this is a mistake, because i lived at the dorm yet i took subway for only 1 stop lmao).

The restaurant they visited is legit where KU students go to, it always packed with people because they serve great food with cheap price! Ah I miss my comfort food, their udon with fish cake...

The thing about South Korea is that it isn’t just the people who are hugely welcoming - it’s everything. Everything is hugely accessible, ease of use is prioritised, there is a multi lingual transport system. You can not speak a word and get around safely and easily. That is what makes everyone feel so welcome ❤️
Couldn't agree more. Throw in the pristine feel to a lot of the parks, museums, and other public spaces, and you get an amazing first impression. So great all around!
Not that welcoming to Muslims, at least from the experience my family and friends had, other people might have a better outcomes...

What this has done for me is increase my hope for this generation. There has been so much sadness, anxiety, etc. for many understandable reasons; yet when I see Max and Armand (and their friends/classmates in the UK and in Korea), well, I feel more hopeful not only for them but for us as a society in this world.

These are privileged teenagers. They won the lottery with their parents, with their education and with their good looks and personality. Unfortunately, not every kid got that bundle of luck.

I cracked up when they thanked the ticket machine in the subway station, lol. And I loved that they had the confidence to make a quick pit stop to order a snack in the station. I'm completely jealous of all the amazing, cheap food available there. Super proud of Armand and Max and I can tell how happy Josh is to show them where he went to uni.

You guys have got me into Korean food and I’m on a quest to find a really good Korean restaurant here in the states, so far I’ve found one good one and I’ve even started making Korean food at work for the family I cook for and they love it!! For me it’s the next best after Pakistani/Indian food 😋😋😋😋
