HAM RADIO: How to connect a N-Type Coax Connector. I have been asked by many of you how to connect a N-Type connector, so in this upload I show you how I put one on the end of a length of RG213.
These connectors are mainly used on equipment using frequencies over 300 MHz so 70cm and 23cm Bands.....and others!

A couple of points.
Don't ever do this anywhere near your radio equipment. The short lengths of cut off braid can find their way into equipment via ventilation holes and cause shorts of the circuit boards. It REALLY spoils your day.
Instead of a soldering iron, if you have a heat gun with a small nozzle that can work better to solder the pin.

I brought same plug can't remember where from came in the sealed packet it was no washer I didn't like it. I get all my different plugs from m0mat very good quality with washer.

Yep no slip washer supplied, very expensive n-types too.

Put an elastic band around the pliers handle..you then have a vice...
