I enjoy your videos. They help mne understand how to control the weeds. I just fertilized my lawn and I will get some weed spray. I have some bad areas like you. Thank You!
Thanks for saying the TG! I hope you can get them under control! Once you know what to do it's just a matter of getting the right product and applying at the right time of year and temperature of day. Good luck!
Love hearing that especially from early vids in my archive when the editing was so rough, hope to see you in the comments regularly as you follow along. 😀
I found the hard way with what you’re saying about the vinegar I used this product called green gobbler on some spots on my yard killed the dandelions but also killed the grass had these yellow spots that where driving me crazy. Before that I messed up using the spectocide concentrate but didn’t see the directions and sprayed on some spots and had yellow dead spots.
A renter of a house in back of us, doesn't treat the dandelions, only has the landscaper mow them. They move over to my area which ticks me off. I have a live fence of arborvitaes but they're only 6ft so the seeds make their was over to my yard which I don't like! Thanks for this. Can you do a video on burning weeds with a flame thrower?
I have a similar problem. neighbor behind me uses a lawn service but they only come once a month. neighbor lets the grass grow really tall so the chickens can feed. meanwhile in spring his backyard looks like the sun its so yellow with dandelions. when the wind blows the seeds blow into my yard. drives me nuts.
Thats where you buy a concentrate and mix it in your tank with water yourself and then walk the lawn in a grid spraying everything uniformly. I've never made a dedicated video on this process to direct you to but it's fairly straightforward.
You are welcome; I wish I could reedit this video to make it better but the gist is sound. It's harder to kill dandelions in the Spring even though we see more of them in the Spring. Good luck!
Not usually. The majority of weed killers that you are likely to use will absorb into tye weed through the leaves so you don't want to wash the ingredients off with water. Most bottles will give you a waterfast time on it of a few hours but I wouldn't water on top of it for a full day just to give the product its best chance at working.

when we treat the pastures we always spray one application on the other side of the fence. If the neighbor is a renter, they wont care. It helps.
How do you do a blanket application?

Do I water my lawn after I spray the weed killer?
