Wrap those in Carbon Fiber or just take those little stripes out and leave the outline

it looks really good ......i would have liked you to leave everything satin black and paint the mesh teal.....thank you for the content

Not feeling the teal tape lines, although, I do like the teal on other areas of the truck. On the vents the teal looks sloppy and like and afterthought. You can see the lines where the tape intersects which just looks cheap. But good job. Honestly. I would make them functional by opening up the inside areas. It’s a shame to not get out of them what they were designed for, heat discharge
The fender vents themselves aren't bad. I like the gloss black accent, but the ocean blue would have to go for me. I'd rather have something like that be as subtle as possible. As it sits, the blue accent is kind of an auto zone upgrade. But, end of the day, it's your truck and my opinion doesn't matter.
Just used your discount code to get some Leather Honey. My Silverado’s steering wheel has been beaten by the sun over the last 4 years as I have to park outside. I’m hoping the conditioner will help repair the dried leather at the top.
I do have a sun shade for the windshield but I sometimes forget to put it up.

Vents are ok looking, a thought to make them functional possible piece of pvc cut through the plastic guard. cut on a angle at the vent a little longer at the firewall seal up against water with epoxy. Keeps most water out of engine bay and still extracts hot air. Then paint the pvc black
My 2 cents are that the vents should match the theme of the hood. Wrap the whole thing carbon fiber, and keep the gloss black insert the way you have it. Ditch the ocean blue, you have plenty ocean blue accents the way it is. The vents don’t need it IMO.

That took some serious kahunas to cut holes in the fenders of that sweet truck! Looks great!
A before and after test would have been nice. Stick a temperature probe under the hood, can still do the test with and without the little rain blockers for more airflow.
Think painting the metal mesh in that island Blue accent would look amazing
Found the channel a few weeks ago, and paid off my truck a few months ago. Thinking of doing some mods and this channel has been a great inspiration

The pictures online show the vents move forward, that maybe the way to get more airflow without removing the foam blocks

Bought my 23 Silverado about a month ago, and have been binge watching your videos for inspiration (not to mention your video quality is pretty top notch). The vents look great… but I don’t have the grapes, I won’t put them on. However, after looking at them for a bit I asked myself what I would do. Here’s my inspiration:
Create a custom Z71 logo. Shrink it down to fit within the exhausts, but incorporate your teal instead of the red. It’s a satin vent, so incorporate the teal Z, and keep the 71 a shiny black. If it doesn’t work, peel it off. 🤙🏽🇺🇸

I like everything but the blue you put on them. The ocean blue looks good in the front but for some reason it does not look good on the fender vents.
OK NEW SUB BELL AND THUMBS UP ,We just got our 2022 high country 4x4 6.2 22000 mile truck for my wife .Found your channel wile searching rims and tires liked the look ,but now know thanks to you 🤙about lifters and push rods issues, this is first order of buisness. i am covered by extended warrenty purchased to 125000 , so cant void it just yet . GAINED a ton of helpful info on the chevy now but much more to go i am sure overall truck will end up very close to your build you are making very similar choices on liked items ,keep up the good work I will be tuned In here in Austin Tx area🤙

That GM adhesive is absolutely ridiculous! SO strong & sticky. Def a PITA to remove.

Looks awesome, I would try and incorporate a custom Z71 logo using that teal color tape or cut it out into the wrap so that it’s matte (matching the original). I would’ve thought maybe going over the TrailBoss in that teal and see how that looks.

Look awesome, though I agree, not very functional. I would probably get something to attach to it and route through the "rain protector" in terms of air flow moving it'll work but sitting at idle with no moving air it'll still be a hard thing to vent properly.
What size tires do you have, do you have the 2" ready lift?
Those are cherry think I'm gonna have to put those on my 2020 z71 but kinda nervous cutting holes in my fender!

In my opinion I like it better without the tape..... But it's not my truck..... To each their own. You got me itching to do this to my 2023 Siilverado ZR2.... I actually wished you would have done a temperature check to see how much hot air is coming out of your vent.
My personal opinion is to keep them flat black like the Z71 emblem you removed

Looks really good I’d hate to cut into my truck wouldn’t the plastic fade in time and turn more like a grey colour. I installed fender flares before on my truck and they were black and eventually faded so I had to paint match it to my truck still need to do my clear and then install it loving your truck keep up the content.
For what Air Design charges they better have some top notch UV protection on all their parts. They are GM accessory approved for some of their fender flares, so that should mean their quality is at OEM levels.
What size wheel and tires are on it?

Weird question but is your garage door standard height?
Since you asked, I’m not a fan. It’s an “AutoZone” mod. Plastic vents that literally do nothing. The Z71 emblem looks better. IMO, the Cricket decals make it look even more home made. I’m a believer in the thinking of a few high quality mods go a long way.
He didn't make any decals on the Cricut yet. This was only the stripes. The Cricut is a die cut machine and the newer ones you can do custom text and graphic designs. I'm sure once he or his wife figures it out he will have all kinds of decals on the truck.
