I just completed the task; my screws were T25, 10mm, and I couldn’t get my hand inside so had to disconnect the hood release cable. Reassembly was a bit of a challenge, primarily because you are laying on the ground with your torso in the floorboard trying to look back toward the battery mount area.
Thank you very much - I couldn’t even find the damn Battery and hesitated to pull off the cover. I just ordered a very cheap Battery from eBay - all in all around 20 USD plus my own labor.

I had a minor accident with my car and it was in the repair shop for 9 months and after the repair I got this message on the dashboard and the steering wheel is very hard to turn sometimes. Could the auxiliary battery be the cause?
I need to replace this battery in the next few days, I'm wondering if the main large battery needs to be disconnected before replacing it and if something needs to be done through the diagnostic tool
Yo Ramiq I have a question. I got a 2012 crv dat ain’t starting. We checked battery and oil. And when we try to start it it doesn’t make the tuna start sound it just turns off right after we twist the key. I think it’s the spark plugs. What do u think pls pin

No need to detach the main battery, the voltage is so minor it doesn’t affect the main battery

This Mercedes is the 2011 model year. Looks like your model year (the 2014) would be in the truck, next to the spare tire!! Hope this helps 😁

@@E_B- I replaced the aux without disconnecting the main battery. There is no way of getting shocked due to isolated connectors on the aux plugs.

No. I got mine from Amazon.
Where you are saying the battery is at there is a fuse panel there no battery.
Which model do you have? They different in location based on model series. This is for a W212 E-class
